So I'm sure you guys all know/remember the Beast, right?

Random story, I just spent all night clicking through the original Cloudmakers readthrough (well, the watered-down n00b version of it anyway) and I found a whole lot of elements of it that reminded me eerily of MH. Can't remember any specific instances that come to mind, though it's mostly the codes and the recurring instances of *somebody* leading *someone* to *something else*. I guess the
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
cryptic interactions between the machines in-game reading like totheark messages
could count too.

It's probably just a tropes-common-to-most-ARGs thing though. Fun way to kill an evening, regardless.

 		The other night at work, I wasn't with my regular co-workers (Saturday night shifts are moved around, so I usually get to work with daylight people, which is sometimes great and sometimes not). Since they were both cool people and we were uncharacteristically not busy, I pulled up a few MH videos to see their reactions.

"This isn't scary," Charlie insisted. "It's just some guy. I'm sorry, but I just don't get it."

A few minutes later, we were informed that they had put an ER patient in our waiting room. We started setting everything up for a chest x-ray when the mAs setting on the control panel suddenly started climbing and climbing. Finally, Charlie shouted "Stop it!"

"Uh, I thought that was you messing around," replied Gretchen. I was standing next to her, and she wasn't adjusting the technique.

"What's going on? Is this thing possessed or -- "

"IT'S SLENDERMAN!" I announced.

The look I got from my co-workers told me to never joke about that again.

So I doubt that this is our slender-friend anymore as we know him, unfortunately. But still, this is similar and pretty creepy.

Yeah, he hasn't been on the facebook chat lately. I got a reply to a message I sent through the mail service. I figure it's mostly college stuff bogging the fellas down.

only Doctor-Whoified. Because they can't match the production value of an independent film made in a college student's free time.

Well they're technically calling it The Silence or something like that but SHADDUP IT'S BASICALLY SLENDERMAN WITH EYES.

Admittedly, I do like the eyes. If Slenderman were to have eyes, they'd be like that. Just dark voids and just a little too far apart.
