Got mine today! Added an extra jump ring so it's always facing forward, just because. Thanks, this is awesome. (Worth coming out of lurk mode for, to say the least.)

I had to put a rush on getting mine as they were for a gift. Trade off is, I won't have stands for them until they are ready. It's worth the wait, though! Great stuff!

And an update TALK ABOUT CRAZY!!!!!!!!!! Stopped at the gas station and right there on the sidewalk by the door was my CHIP!!!!!!!!! I don't even remember going to the gas station on Wednesday so I must have had a great night and thank goodness for whoever didn't do their job and sweep. JNow I just have to pick up a chain and I'll be good to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also lost the little clasp for the necklace (have the necklace and chip though). I put it on, walked around for a day, then when I took it off at a mirror on one side of the room and walked to the other side, it was gone. Of course, this was a morning later, and try as I could I was unable to find the necklace clasp.

However, I was considering doing something rash with the chip (gold-plating it), and if I do I can replace the chain with a gold one that is more stylish. I have gold-plating solution and a power supply, so I was going to give it a go. But I figured I'd see if there's anyone else who thought of this...

sorry to reply so late steve.
been wearing it every day. as with all ball-chains, the clasp is not the greatest mechanism and i've already lost the chain once in my sleep. amazingly the chip got stuck in my shirt and i heard it fall.

tricky, tight clasp, but the chain length and smaller ball links are nice.
really a handsome piece.
