Personally, I think it was a reaction to Slendy. In a lot of blogs, they've referenced that they knew Slendy was pissed because they could feel it.
Instead of feeling the normal, I want to meet your friends, Slendy, Michael feels a hostile Slendy, and tries to get the fuck out of there.

As for the Garden, I know it doesn't add any definite evidence to the projection theory, but I love how Eric does nothing, but when Mike says, "Look at me!" Eric turns his head toward Slendy

So I agree that Eric says "Fuck you, Michael" while Michael is simultaneously saying "That's not right" multiple times.
As fas the "Come, meet..." line that Michael says, I think Michael knew Slender Man was going to be there and wanted Eric to see him or "meet" him. This goes right along with your idea, ZaqCass

I wonder if Michael regards Slendy...well, not as a friend, but definitely someone who is very important in his life. And in that fucked up way that the mythos generates, wanted Eric to meet him. "There's this really important person in my life that you need to know."

It's almost like a metaphor for living with an abusive spouse/family member.

yeah. the new one was weird. the caption on the video is what caught me this time though. "He was different this time." who? eric? or SM?
SM definitely seemed a little more... angry(?) this time.

I always feel really awkward when people try to point them to other vlogs, but maybe that's just me. That's one thing I like about Marble Hornets -it doesn't acknowledge the others so the story's more insular. Everyone's take on Slenderman is different, so when people try to force one series to acknowledge another I feel like it kind of takes away something from there own.

Again, probably just my personal opinion. I like that Andersen Journals so far has nothing to do with the others.

I'm on board the "That's not right->Slendy" train.

I think either MLA expects Slendy to act a certain way or was told he'd act a certain way.

But it's obvious that what happened wasn't expected.



In a related, but PLEASEDON'TKILLMEBECAUSEIREALLYENJOYTHISSERIES note...I thought it was kinda goofy for Slendy to be behind the screen door.

I'm all for the follow-up scare, but it being behind the door just kinda made me giggle

I actually think he's saying, "You've gotta start running". I'm just not getting the "that's not right". If it's been somewhat established that other people can't see him (unless they're his victims), then wouldn't he try to tell Eric to start running? Although, I'm preeety sure Eric sees him behind the door, so I don't really know.

I apologize if this was touched upon already but maybe the way Slender was standing was a bit more aggressive?

We've basically seen Slendy stand around ominously but in this video he seemed to be in a more aggressive posture both over the fence and right before the Black Screen Of Death when he was standing in their way.

I might just be grasping at straws but when he mentioned him being different I think it was because he could tell Slendy was angry maybe.

Based on his posture in the scenes I mentioned, I'm guessing.
