SMRTTid Awareness Month

Don't forget March is SMRTTid Awareness Month. This year, we have partnered with the Council on American Heritage to bring mobile vans to your area with the latest in high-tech sensors for speedy RFID chip updates and re-certification. Check back for details of the van's route and associated festivities. And sign up for an update appointment today!

Watch for vans!! If I see one, I'm totally getting chipped.

Email

I just got an email from http://www.breakthrough.tv to my account for this game. It's some human rights organization. Thoughts?

I couldn't find a search bar either, but follow that link and scroll right and left through the posts.

Awesome on adding the characters - there is soooo much just from that one "classified" area!

NYC is a few hours North - but yes, if in NYC I find a way North Wink

There's a lot of references to Minneapolis, MN; San Francisco, CA; NYC; and Portland, OR. I wouldn't be surprised if there were live events in all of these locations, and maybe more. This game looks like it has a serious budget.

Agent: America email

I've received the same email.

Annoyingly, the CAH was the one organization I definitely did NOT apply for a job with.

Content:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Welcome, Agent,

We've taken a thorough look at your credentials and you have successfully passed our entrance exam. We expect you to report for duty in a few short days. You will be joining an elite team of agents tasked with a difficult case that we've been working on for some time.

Here is your assignment:

Today, in the year 2049, America stands at a crossroads, just steps from chaos. You are an agent of the Council on American Heritage, tasked with the capture of a presumed terrorist. Here's a tip: other agents have reported that he resembles Harold Perrineau from that old television show, Lost. Coincidentally, a man who looks uncannily like early twenty-first century actor Victor Garber is your boss. And a masked woman who also may strike you as vaguely familiar will be sending you secret messages. We are counting on you to find this terrorist and help get this country back on track.

If you are serious about this job and this country —(and, Agent, you should be if you want to move up in the ranks)—you're going to really have to pay attention to keep up. Secret locations will be revealed to you gradually so you can meet other agents face-to-face and learn a thing or two at noted brick-and-mortar landmarks across the country.

Also, if you have a friend looking for a top-notch job, send him or her our way. It has been quite a difficult search finding qualified agents since the 2030s.

We will be in touch in a few days with more information to help you build your case and track your quarry.

Again, welcome. And good luck to you, Agent.

The Council on American Heritage

I think if you put your email anywhere in any of the game sites, you'll get this today. Which doesn't make a lot of in-game sense, but let's see how it pans out.

Hopefully there will be some "Double-Agent" gameplay. Working for Divided we Fall inside of the Council for American Heritage.

I have signed up as a double agent,
I have a separate account for both dwf and cah.

I'm sorry....I just...need to rant here Evil or Very Mad

Besides the total ripping up the curtain for me by mentioning the actors by name, then making obvious references to their awareness of the theories that go on in this forum...this kinda stuff just drives me batty:

So it is supposedly 2049 right???? Which would make Victor Garber 100 years old. But supposedly the president is rumoured to look like him only not like him THEN, like him NOW. I mean, I could have forgiven it if they had said a Young Victor Garber...no I can't....it's inexcusable :/

And oh, the other guy looks strangely like the character in Lost? That's like me saying, yeah...the notorious suspect looks like Chico from Chico and the Man...everyone who gets that reference (and can remember what Chico looks like) put up their hands.

as much as I love Lost as much as the next guy...I'm pretty sure it will be irrelevant in 38 years, especially in a futuristic dystopic state where America has fragmented to potentially warring factions

e.t.a: I mean if they were going to do it, they should have went with it full force and gave Harold Perrineau fictional credits that he became better known for since Lost. That could have been clever or fun.

/end rant

sorry, not enough coffee today

Yeah... the total curtain pull actually made me laugh out loud.

I feel like every game lately has included some really legalistic jargon or something obvious like this. Maybe its a trend to avoid confusing people a la 2012 "Institute for Human Continuity" game that made people think the world was really ending.

Still going to watch this one. Think we have to choose one team to be an agent for?
