All i see is that in the ones she can eat, at somepoint there are two letters that are in order via the alphabet.

That could be it, but don't quote me on that

Reminds me of the "Planet of Zoom"

On the planet of Zoom there are walls but no ceiling, there are doors but no windows, grass but no wind, floors but no carpet. There's a will but no way. etc etc.

If you get it wrong you drink. Everyone keeps drinking until they work it out.

Hilarity ensues.

On the planet of Zoom there are walls but no ceiling, there are doors but no windows, grass but no wind, floors but no carpet. There's a will but no way. etc etc.

But that is easier, 'cause the doubleletter is also in the name "Zoom"!

In "Joanne" aren't two letter that follows each other in the alphabet...maybe it is the wrong way, but I think this thing is solved!

If the name Joanne has nothing to do with the riddle itself (although in these kinds of riddles the name often gives you the answer) Beastriker has the right answer.

Joanne can only eat food that has two consecutive letters in it that follow each other in the alphabet as well.

pears turnips crab

the other food doesn't have this feature.

Just for curiosity, how does this reflect on your final mark? I can't imagine something like a grade depending on a riddle (looking both at some people's lack of logical though and the VERY easy cheating via communication Razz

)
