April Fools and laughing at yourself.
Yes, this is actually Slender Man related.

Okay, the various April Fools videos put up by various ARGs (Angel's Game, MLAnderson0, to name a couple), plus the humorous videos about certain characters when they're called out by a fan in real life (Like the video of Adam/Noah from TT, where a fan records him raging on some bushes) have made me realize that there are two ways for handling a Slender series. You can either go the MH and EMH route, and maintain realism at almost any cost (Admittedly, Troy has his blog, but...), or you can take the other route, and parody yourself. The second tends to be criticized for damaging people's immersion, but it's also been highly praised, as long as it's a rare thing. So, denizens of the Slendyboard, which do you prefer? Would you want a series that, if you were to meet a character in real life but outside of an organized meetup, they would still act in character? Or do you like the kind where the creators upload videos making fun of themselves?

Well, I know that EMH has multiple formats of self-ridicule: various albums on Facebook ("What Happens When We Should Be Filming," etc.) and jeffreykoval.com. (Posts about Batman and dead parents, Southwest Chicken Salad, and behind-the-scenes pictures.)

I was unaware of any of those. What are the names of the facebooks?

One is the personal blog (think Troy's, but more general material) and the other are albums on their personal profiles.

EDIT: Ha, reading comprehension, I has it. At any rate, the albums are worth checking out Acora, though I think they'll have to friend you on FB first.

The Andersen boys' video yesterday sealed their place in my heart forever. If something that amazing breaks the immersion of some spaz somewhere, then I say break it -- break it like Michael's fragile psyche.

I think it's fine. The parodies are all hosted on the creators' personal YTs rather than the main game pages, and anyone who wants to maintain immersion shouldn't be looking at PMs' personal youtube pages anyway.

So I pretty much follow every single video series there is. Just saying.

I love parodies of Slenderman, mainly because I'm terrified of him.
