Slender Man Music CD Just wondering if any of the current series like Marble Hornets or Everyman Hybrid (or a new one?) is running a new ARG involving a Slender Man-themed music CD. My brother found one in a thin plastic case attached to a pole with masking tape (I live in Maryland, but I'm a little reluctant to say exactly where right now).
It's a regular CD-R with "SLENDERMAN" written on it in sharpie. At first I thought it had viruses or whatever in it, but after running a scan I found it had 13 MP3s on it, plus a readme about the samples used in the songs, and a png of the album art, which is some sort of strange black and white static.
The songs on it are all instrumentals, with occasional snippets of distorted/backwards speech. One of the songs begins with some dialogue from Evan from Everyman Hybrid. Another one has morse code, and I'm pretty sure the rest have other hidden messages as well.
I don't know how to upload mp3's, though...

Well, assuming everything isn't copy-righted. If you rip the CD to your computer using something like Windows Media Player and find those files, you could upload everything to Mediafire. I've never done it before but I'm sure a quick google search could help with that.

I see someone made a CD of DJ Rozwell's Slenderman album.

OP, your descriptions of the MP3s sound exactly like DJ Rozwell's album of Slender Man-inspired music. Here's the link: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=31864

You're trying to say that your brother randomly happened upon a CD just randomly attached to a pole, and luck would have it that his brother follows EverymanHYBRID. A youtube series with 8002 subscribers. Right. Yeah.
Reminds me a bit of the guy who found a music video on Youtube that MAY BE SLENDERMAN RELATED even though it was titled "SLENDERMAN - THE ALBUM".

Re: Slender Man Music CD Wellllllll, was it in College Park? I decided to do some geurilla marketing for the Slenderman album there with my friend by taping up CDs on walls and telephone poles and such in a couple places. To my knowledge there's at least one other out there.

It was meant to be painfully obvious that I made that post. The part in the post where it said "I totally didn't make this album" wasn't meant to be taken at face value.

Not to me, it isn't.

That's nearly as improbable as EverymanHYBRID having two followers in the same dorm who don't really know each other.

Maybe I've been scammed too many times on the Internet. It's alright, when Prince Foluke finally wires the money he owes me, I'm taking you all out to eat.

Well hey, Noah from TribeTwelve was just walking by while someone was filming for the HABIT trials. You never know.

Sweet! Myself, I'm due for a check from my long-lost cousin Ekundayo any day now.

Okay so I did some searching for Slender Man-related music and eventually found this on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWuanjuSZFM
It's an ad for the Slender Man album and contains a download link on Mediafire. As far as I can tell it's identical to the songs on the CD, except that there are actual tracks names in the download version that seem to add to the mystery (like "Searching For Answers" and "Found"). Also, the weird guitar kind of sound in the ad appears on one of the songs on the album too, if that means anything.
Also I kinda get why sje46 was calling me a sock puppet account (I was posting only couple weeks after the first topic about the Slender Man album on here), I understand it's kind of a problem around here. I'll set up a proper account here soon once I get off my lazy butt, haha.

I'll be sure to get you all a spot on my luxury ruise liner when the Nigerian Mafia get my 200,000 bucks. All it cost me was my passport, credit card details and soul!
