[OT] Project Thunderclap

Please don't trout me, as it did do a search for Project Thunderclap before I posted. Anyways on Josh Minkers FB page, his dad is writing letters in Russian now. Someone said that one of the translations was Project Thunderclap. Now when I cut and paste his post into google and search it doesn't come up with that. Closest I found was Operation Thunderclap and a song called "Something in the Air"
However, someone found Josh online and started trying to chat with him. Here is the PM he sent me in FB

Please dont take this the wrong way, but I would suggest you spend a little time reading thru the posts at the top of this forum .. Basically they will inform you of the rules and protocol here as well as getting you up to speed on what has already been discovered and talked about/accepted/rejected.

Since your first posts here you have revisited topics already discussed .. some from months ago which show that you have just jumped in without getting caught up.
Example. You ask not to be trouted for having done a search and starting a new topic for Project Thiunderclap which gave you a song by Thunderclap Newman called Something in the Air..Did this really need its own new thread?
Had you taken the time to become familiar with where we are now, you would have known that the Josh Minker Facebook page is a hoax.. So, for you to go there and begin posting stuff here was totally unavoidable and unncessary.. thats why we have rules.. to help avoid this kind of newbie repetition syndrome..
Then you started another thread about the reenter command on the PDP11..
Had you done what all newcomers are supposed to do, you would have known that we found this out 8 months ago..
in that same thread you ask if there is a thread about the water tower and the blue light etc..
Once again, had you followed forum procedures, this would be common knowledge for you..
Please take the time to go back to the beginning and read thru everything that has happened to get us to where we are today. Then you will be able to take part in the ARG that is happening today and not where we have already been months ago..Many folks here have spent hours of their time compiling wiki's and story recaps just for those like yourself who have come into this game almost 11 months after it started.. its similar to trying to explain what someone has missed when they show up for the last 15 minutes of a 2 hr movie.
So, get up to speed and then help us out deciphering new clues and info, ok?

oh, and BTW, if you suspect you might be trouted for something, dont post it until you have checked it out. The almighty trout waits for no-one..
The folks here are really sharp and unless its something that has just been posted or found, chances are its already been discovered.

MelodyMan, I hope I don't come off as rude but the very first thing I did when I came here was read all the posts at the top of the page to get caught up. I brought up things that had not been discussed in a while to see if there had been any new leads. i.e the .REENTER command. I did find the older posts. But no one had posted anything in it in a while. It was a way of making sure all angles were being looked at. Josh's FB page isn't listed as a GJ according to the main GAME SUMMARY thread. Also I'm am still searching for the thread regarding the water tower and light that you say has been covered. I know the search function isn't the best but don't think I didn't do a little research first. And I have been following this movie, although sadly not on this site, since the first trailer.

OK I do apologize for that. I actually re-read that entire thread before I posted. Somehow my brain kept overlooking the word Facebook and only focused on the youtube link, which was obviously not IG
