 		It was never directly mentioned that he lost the tapes, he just lost the footage from his laptop.

 		Interesting. Looks like it's going back to the Slendermythos with that story (In the original slendermythos, slenderman dismembered his victims, stuffed their blood and body parts in bags, and hung the bags on trees in a forest).

So we'll have to see slendy again soon!

 		But the question is, was this the footage that had him unable to look through more tapes and caused his "slendy sickness?"
Also, "The tapes aren't with me, and the footage I copied to my laptop has apparently been deleted. I need to get back. Fast." That's the tweet he made regarding the footage. From this one would assume that the tapes were either taken by TTA or TiMasky, or they are safe at whatever secret location he's hiding at.

This was probably what he intended to upload the night of enttry #37, and was probably saved in a different location from the other footage, hence why it was still on his laptop.
But man, what a let down. I was expecting something shocking to happen, but nope. Nothing worth noting. Just some Slendy backstory.

Just because the tapes weren't with him, it doesn't mean they weren't safe at home. Though, maybe I just want to hold onto that thought for the sake of comfort.
