 		Is anyone else uneasy with the direction the story is going? I don't think that Marble Hornets needs a long brick of demystifying exposition about the Slenderman's origins.

I'm a bit concerned for Jay, considering that Alex has been acting suspiciously recently.

I think he is luring Jay to be murdered or kidnapped by the operator, but that's my own personal oppinion.

I agree. A backstory kills the "fear of the unknown" vibe, so now Slendy's actually gonna have to do something to be scary again. Besides standing there menacingly.

 		One thing I don't understand--how does being tied to a tree stretch a person out? Unless they're also secured to the ground or something, I'm not picturing how it works.

 		anyone else notice at about 2:34 while jay is changing the tape and alex takes that first step that there's a noise that syncs with his foot step that sounds like a sewer lid being dropped?

 		I think we are all agreed that something is off with Alex. Now it may be a red herring for all we know, but on the other hand, something this big, and this suspicious...I think there is something up, and not the usual "Slendermans in your kitchen, eatin' your waffles" stuff, but something more to do with Alex and maybe TTA. Maybe whatever is in that ditch...?

But that's exactly it- the Operator's going to have to do something now.

This whole entry was super scary for me, because now the Operator's more than just some speculative mass. He's got flesh and bones and a background of grisly murder.

I can see it now, as they were burned, the criminals were taken in to the essence of the trees, becoming tall, thin, and mysterious, just as the "blessed" growth of the forest was mysterious. And they want revenge on those who did this to them.

Multiple Operators?

In the tapes it just seems like Alex was playing a game with Alex, trying to get J to slip up. I'm starting to think (alive or dead) Alex had a major impact on J ending up in the hotel and losing 7 months.
