This Apate person is saying a lot of cryptic nonsense and I'm not 100% sure this isn't a gamejacker. But, it's really hard to tell if they're ingame because they greeted us with HEY FELLOW PLAYERS, and that violates this whole "this is not a game" thing.

Yeah, he seems very keen on holding information back. Definitely isn't the type to give straight answers. XD I still don't really trust him, but he's IG. Keeps talking about dopplegangers and how something holds him back, like there's two sides of him. At least he gave some answers about what the Quobe group is. I'm going to shoot Noblesse an email and inquire about this character.

Alright, just finished my conversation with Apate. For the sake of not cluttering this topic and bogging it down with mass amounts of quotes, I set up a pastebin.

I'm not sure what to make of some if it. The i i i i i iii thing threw me off a bit; I really don't think it's a hijacker at all - it's far too early on in this to get intertwined enough with the small bits of story we have. The only real substantial thing I got out of all that was that the Quobe/Noblesse thing is a business of some sorts, and they use synchronicity to go about conducting their matters. What kind of business, or what their goal is, no idea. He said he couldn't talk about it.

The only other major thing is that he wishes he could be an 8, or something other than a 9, because lower numbers have it so much easier. He wouldn't elaborate - he vanished after I asked him what 9s do that 8s don't, and why it's harder.

Not sure what to make of it.

Here's my conversation with them. Didn't get to chat for too long before they disappeared. It was clear that they were in the middle of a lot of conversations, and I noticed they switch back and forth between reasonable human being typing and AIMspeakish typing.

You might have caught him at the end of being online. Apate is definitely offline and I haven't heard from Noblesse in a while. Don't give up!

The first message I sent to Noblesse, I got an email back right away. Although it might have been semi-automated. They sent back the questionnaire almost immediately. After I filled out the questionnaire it took... 6 hours? I think. So not too immediate. Perhaps they just didn't get it? I hope they respond to your new email.

We didn't find out too many definitive things. A lot of it was all riddle-y and stuff. I don't think you missed too much! Maybe reading through all the crap that Apate said, you can give us a fresh perspective on things.

Yeah, I did get the automated response, but not the second one. I did wait over night so I really should have gotten something by now. Maybe I was only a 1, or something?
Ah well, I switched up some answers on my second reply, so maybe it'll go better this time. It's only been an hour since I sent that one, after all.

I've read the logs, but I didn't find anything interesting. Maybe he only claims to be their business partner, though? Because he sounds more like their crazy test subject to me.

I got my replies nearly instantly, though i think i sent my emails late at night. (So possibly during a time when the USA is up and about)

It's possible they might have just missed your reply, Skau. I dunno. Hopefully they reply this time. If not, I'll punch them in the face.

I also felt sketchy about him saying he was part of Noblesse... mostly because he sent an email to people that weren't 9's... when 9's were only given the emails of other 9's. I sent Noblesse an email about it asking if he was actually part of the organization though. Hopefully that gets a response as well! The guy is a little bonkers. XD
