 		For reference, I've got the files from part 3 of Portland on the wiki at http://america2049.wikibruce.com/Level_1:_Portland
the audio and video are F4V format for now (VLC media player can play them)

 		Over on the FB discussions - someone had posted about finding something on the CAH page about Ken Asaba - and this was the reply - seems they are, as others mentioned, guiding things right now

And if they know of neither Unfiction nor the Wiki, then... I dunno what to think Confused Michael linked the forum in the facebook discussions though, so they've GOT to know...

Yeah, am in the same boat as you, seems like they have some 'left hand not talking to the right' hand stuff going on amongst the creators as some of them are definitely aware of this space (whether or not they're reading it I don't know). I hope it gets better, so far there are few kind of 101 mistakes happening imho that make me not sure that I'm going to like this.

I don't use FB to play games (don't like my game activities projected to everyone in my network), however I don't mind them branching into this area... but the Portland challenge was so mind numbingly point-and-click boring, exasperated by the fact that every step popped up a box even when you had nothing, and you had to click it to go away, often had to click multiple times for the slow FB interface to take effect. I persevered to the end because I want to give it a go, then there wasn't much of a payoff for doing so - a message saying to check back on Monday for more.

Interesting that Bill Yarrow left portland for uganda, when everyone has established what a nightmare quarantine will be when he gets back. I'm wondering if there's some significance to the dates on the flights - Cynthia arrived from Miami first on the 19th Sept, then Bill left for uganda on 25th Sept, then Ken arrived from Chicago on the 31st.

Perhaps Bill passed on some crucial information to Cynthia then left the country so he couldn't be caught by CAH? Cynthia passed it on to Ken?

What if the Red zone is actually now completely safe, but the US pretends it's still plagued so it can continue it's racist and protectionist stance on immigration?

Am wondering if there's significance in the numbercode on the boarding pass, or that they're all flying with Stratus Air. Only link online I can find to a company called that is this hypothetical presentation http://www.cooper.com/journal/2009/07/stratus_air.html for a tech savvy future boarding pass that also includes full itinery and passport information. I don't think it's connected to the game.

 		I think this is being tailored to use in like a High School environment the "field trips" will have to be changed since the dates will be past.. .. Writing this I just had a HUGE Flashback to Carmen San Diego series of games... educational and fun at the same time .... LOL...

I also wish it was not linked to Facebook.

Will this Trail Head be moved to now playing since it is now live?, I have not had the pleasure of starting with the start, of a game before. so I do not know how it works.

There's no 'now playing' section here, it just goes... when it gets to whatever size causes a useful existence of multiple discussion threads, then it likely be moved to its own forum. Until then, this is the place to be Smile

did anyone checkout the video on zooglio...the day break? or morning show whatever it is....the ending seriously seemed like it was geared for a high school civics class with "unit" questions at the end

i don't mind if it is...but I think if they had marketed like this from the get go a lot of the heavy handed didactic message would make more sense rather than be a turn off

Yep, and the "puzzles" nothing more than fill in the blank busywork. Could they have included any more directions on where to go and what to look at? There seems to be such impressive resources behind this game, but so far...meh.

 		I could not use this in my high school class (I teach environmental and transmedia/tech) as facebook and many other sites are blocked and I am not allowed to be friends with any student....
