Okay...marblehornetsdvd.com is listed on the MH youtube page now. I think that's taking it a little too far.

i don't like it either, but i understand it. remember, probably most of the people who watch marble hornets (at least most of my friends who watch it) do not look at this forum or troy's blog, so he has to have some way to advertise it.

Exactly this. If it really bothers you, just try not to look down past the video pane on their channel. You don't notice it if you don't scroll past.

Still, this is the first time to my knowlege that the actual youtube page has incorporated anything to indicate that it's fictional. Like ya'll I understand it though. Would have been hilarious if they tried to plug it into the game itself and play it off like totheark was the one selling the DVD, and J would be all freaked out by that.

For one, Bad Jay! On the other hand, I don't really mind this particular level of shilling and understand that they have to advertise properly (if this means a slightly more complex-looking ending, I'm all for it). It's near-invisible anyway, since I never look at that section of youtube (does this invalidate my point about proper advertising?).

Why isn't this DVD on IMDB.com yet?

OK, that wasn't very user friendly. Managed to order a copy and only $18.95 though. Excellent stuff! Can't wait to get it.

Depending on where you are ordering from, you would have to pay $3 S&H, or $7 (for international).

I understand they need a way to sell the DVD, but still. The Youtube and Twitter pages should remain completely IG at all times. They would've sold plenty of copies advertising elsewhere. How am I going to convince people MH is real when there's a link to the fucking DVD on the page? It completely ruins the effect. :/

To which Jay would respond: I've seen these extras, bloopers, and commentaries that totheark distributed in DVD form. In them, we constantly call everyone except Tim by different names, like "Troy" and "Joseph", but the really disturbing part is... I don't remember any of it ever happening.
