I would love to ask the guys questions, but I've never talked to them before, so that would be weird. Maybe you could make it a more general question like "Hey, what with everything going on do you feel safe at home? Have any weapons that you keep close by in case something happens?" Just an idea.

... I also had something to say about Alex, but I've forgotten it. Maybe if I can remember I'll come back and edit this.

If someone wants I can ask if any of the boys have weapons aside Evan's love for the knives. Be polite and actually not strange about it. Something like "With the recent turn of events have you taken to keeping weapons around you in case they might be needed?" Try to make it not rude or make sense just tell me if you want me to do this and I will.

I would urge you guys (and anyone else) to give it a shot with the writing in. It's only terrifying the first time, or in my case, the first five. Nobody here has a claim on correspondence and it's everyone's game.
