 		[Question] Questions about Standish-
Ok, last time I asked a queation,, y'all were very helpful, so I'm hoping to get the same results this time.

1st- Is Standish ever mentioned in any of the Halo novels like 1st strike or the fall of reach? If so, in what capacity is he mentioned?

2nd- What rank is standish? Obviously he is not an admiral because he cannot authorize wetwork operations.

3rd- What is Standish's job? He is the head of something in ONI, but wht exactly?

4th- Why is Herzog investigating/antagonistic towards standish? I know that he is investigating the covenent artifact, but how does he know it is under Standish's control, and what about his sarcastic comment "it is always useful to meet with you standish"

 		1st- Not in the Fall of Reach and probably not in The Flood which I'm reading
right now.

4th- They seem to have both been around and obviously Herzog does not
approve the cloak and dagger ways that Standish practices.

 		I can only help answer number 1. Standish is not mentioned in either Fall of Reach, or First Strike, I just read both of those. I will venture to say he is not mentioned in "the flood" or else we would have ran in to him during gameplay of halo 1.

He's not mentioned in the Flood.


Though, Tommi, we do get to hear about the 105th "Helljumper" ODST troops on Halo - they're your backup marines on most of the missions, only, you don't know that until you read the book.
