 		To be honest, it sounded at first to me like the Lt. Col. was saying:

"The assault on sec" as if he was saying Section (19, possibly? Because of the clip name) Section 19. It just makes more sense to me than him saying "The assault on technology."

We have to read his lips correctly and observe the emphasis of his words to figure it out. But it sounds like "section" to me. If so, they might have been attacked by the creature or friends of the creature, or by anything.

 		 Clip study
I ran the movie clips over and over again. The section where they are discussing the natural attributes of the "IT" there is a flip of a scene where the cubes and being subjected different tests, the scene where the cubes are boiling the dead fish. The last clip has Josh's dad describing the object on the table before him. He briefly says " it's natural pred..." I'm assuming natural predator.

What if the cubes are an alien race, being, creature, power source .... whatever, being chased by a galactic enemy, IE: the beast/thing on the table. Shocked

Just food for thought.

The leaked info regarding the 22 mins shown at Cinema Con state that there were hundreds, if not thousands of those little cubes in the train wreckage and the boy merely pockets one.

 		A spoiler tag needs put over that. There's a difference between speculation and playing this ARG; and pointing out parts of the movie that the general public hasn't been shown yet. This was very clearly posted above the paragraph regarding that information.

 		Balls. Crying or Very sad I wish people would also say that big plot spoilers are in the spoilers because sometimes I read them and think "why was that in a spoiler?". Ugh...

 		What are we complaining about? There was already proof of a multipule number of cubes, hence the experimenting in the s8editingroom clips. No duh, of course it was the cubes being transported, that's why Joe Lamb ended up having one fly out of his room in the trailer. So why all the hate and surprise? This is the kind of reaction I get from you all: "Oh no, we know more than JJ wants us to know." Come on, it's not THAT big of a spoiler. Besides, what we all REALLY want to know is what the Creature looks like. Am I right? Confused

 		I know that, but you're referring to IThinkImMe's post which contains spoilers about the 22 minutes, so i can only assume what you said is reffering to the 22 minutes even if the information was "obvious" i know have no doubt that its true, which i'd rather not had, Please add a spoiler to it. I dont know about other people on this forum, but for me the tiniest thing about the 22 minutes (even unintentionally reffering to it) reveals a lot to me. Sorry to rant mate, but it's for the people who rather not know, thanks.

You know, for a site thats devoted to finding out EVERYTHING about a movie you sure want to keep your head buried in the sand. I first noticed that leak on IMDB and did I say, "OMG I now know too much about this movie!"? No I embraced the facts and tried to use them to further our discussion. It's not like this information was hard to find either. On the footage @ s8's editing room, it talks about the cubes and THEIR biological attributes so Interplanetarian is correct.
