While hopefully wait for a "sign", I was bored earlier this week and emailed the guys about some other avenues they could pursue for some info ( in hopes of triggering something else storywise) , specifically the Officer Matten from the Memory Town letter. I wondered if maybe he was someone they were able to contact(assuming he's alive).

Hmm.... All this talk of responses gave me an idea. Why don't we take a lesson from the Jadusable ARG and post the music video of Who Could Win A Rabbit as a response? Something could happen, you never know. I'd do it myself, but im currently on my ipod and dont have access to a computer.

I'd go with RandomGuy's right now. We don't know if they can even process direct verbal address given what has been sent and in what condition - assuming for the sake of argument that someone is sending us this.

If it were possible, I would add a morse version of his words to the bottom of the screen, but I guess it isn't. I'd stick with a single response for now, though. ETA: Oh, never mind, didn't see the note above.

Oooh, video responses! I think this is a good idea-- in the same medium, messages are more easily understood/received. I hope this works; it's the most we've been able to do for a while.

I think the second video posted here is most likely to achieve something. The addition of an offer for help is good, as is the general atmosphere/reliance on clips that the Arkwards-EMH. Both are good efforts, but I think before anyone puts anything as a response to a hidden clip we need to think this over more thoroughly.

I agree with Mattwan: we have no reason to believe that Slendy won't come down hard on this avenue of communication. This may well be a one-time deal, in keeping with His policy of isolating His targets and keeping them away from help.

So: we need to know what we intend to do. "Help EMH" is great, but not specific enough. Do we want information, do we want to directly influence the timeline, is there anything we're missing that they have access to? That is why I feel the second video is, so far, a better choice: it states a goal.

I want to make it clear that I'm not pouring any haterade on shoeler, just that we need to consider what we want to do before we make contact. It's a volatile method of communication, so let's treat it like it may not always work (if it does, and I really hope it does).

...all this is complicated by the "stop watching us" tweet, but I have pizza burning in the oven and I need to think about that more anyway. Thoughts?

I think we need to know who they are, where this is from, what they want to do, and how this footage exists. Is it future, is it an alternate timeline? How do we help? How do we stop this?

Wow, I am both torn and in awe (which is some form of inception probably) at this discussion. To cut my response really short: Very good progression of thought on a complicated problem. The video response plan is a clever idea, and I think RandomGuy hit it right on the head. At the same time, I think the two videos are more than enough, and I would seriously hold off on any more video responses. Give time for a response, and I say take no response as a signal not to continue. Again, this is very smart, but I would rather we avoid emulating jadusable. _{As fun as it would be.}

As for HABIT, yeah, qaqa. I don't know if he's pissed about the storage discovery or he's in Libya or what, but I also get the "just don't mess with him right now" vibe. Incidentally that makes me want to mess with him, but I will leave that to you. <3
