Also from the flash back scene, something that I could not catch in the theaters, was who told who "You've been corrupted." between Flynn and CLU.
According to the captioning on the bluray, it's CLU who says it to Flynn.

Flashback of Clu's mutiny I noticed some text, and I did some frame grabs. There's definitely text there. Not sure it amounts to anything. Stuff like this:
I found 3 frames total. Here are the full size images:

http://www.madopal.com/images/TRON/noiseInFight2.png
http://www.madopal.com/images/TRON/noiseInFight3.png
It looks like the same text used across all 3 images, and nothing looks like a 12-digit Hello Flynn code or anything.

It's definitely Clu that says "You've been corrupted" it's got that overlay on the voice that Clu has when his helmet is up. It's just not quite as "heavy" as we hear earlier in the film.
There is this set of symbols that look like "CLU" that show up randomly. I kind of want to make a font now.

At a closing Borders, I snagged one of these.

Just a kids book, however, it had this little gem in it.
Looks like it's wrong/different, though. From that guide and those images, it'd be "clo" not "clu". I'm guessing the book is wrong then.

I don't think it's really a matter of wrong vs. right. The folks making that book probably was given reference materials that contained some of those symbols and they made more for use in the book. It happens occasionally that things don't entirely match up or mean the same things when you get little off shoots.
Thanks for sharing that pic! If I do get around to making a font that will be a great style guide.
Funny story to totally derail the topic: (ok it's actually kind of a pathetic story) I saw that very kids book when I was coming out of the theater after seeing Legacy the second time. Having Rinzler on the cover I had to scope it out. But when I picked it up and saw the title ... well, Reprogrammed! plus Rinzler gave me the "sad look". My friend who saw the movie with me was very "Jane? Are you OK?"
My response was something like "I'm not being emotional over a fictional character! Nothing to see here! You must never speak of this!"
My friend just laughed.

From the pic, it's easy to guess that the O U and Y symbols could be switched around...

Can someone possibly help me with this? I've wanted to get the ultimate collection, but it appears that there are different variations of the 5 disc set. Rather than buy multiples, is there any particular set which contains everything?

The only difference between the regular 5-Disc Set and The Ultimate TRON Experience is the packaging. The regular 5-Disc Set just comes in a standard Blu-Ray case with a cardboard slip cover, while The Ultimate TRON Experience contains all five discs in a case that looks like an Identity Disc.
I'm glad I got it simply for the sake of being a collector's item, but to be perfectly honest the regular version is much more practical. The Ultimate TRON Experience case may look nice on your shelf but it's a pain to get the discs in and out (all five are stacked on top of each other in the case).

Sorry I'm so infantile, but "W" in Tron Font looks like boobies -- just sayin'!

The action sports freak is coming out in me, but I noticed that young Sam has a Powell-Peralta skateboard in his room. He also has a P.K. Ripper bike. Both of which are NOT cheap by today's standards, so I imagine Disney had to fork out a bit for these. Nonetheless, pocket change compared to the rest of the props.

Actually, I doubt they had to fork over anything. It was product placement, and I'm sure they were either given for free or paid to have them in the movie (mostly Ducati).
