[ABANDONED BLOG] Fabulous. Despite a little forum-y drama that shall not be mentioned here regarding this blog (No, seriously, don't mention it), I've spent the time today that I haven't been working, reading this new Slenderblog, and I'll be perfectly honest, I've been very impressed. Me and qaqa had a little bit of a discussion (read: argument) earlier today about it, but I'm going to repeat my side of the discussion here anyway: The character is unique as far as these Slendy stories go, and I think she might be one of the best-established characters so far.
Sometimes she's bordering on parodying herself, but she actually seems a lot more real to me than a lot of the 'hello i am a person, here is my blog, it has white text on a black background, clearly i am the epitome of interesting design choices' stuff I've read. Maybe that just goes to show I hang out with a lot of fake people, or that I watch too many Disney movies, but regardless, I find a blog from such a different perspective refreshing.
You can find this blog at http://fabulo.us.tf/ - and, to be honest, I can't fault Ms. Fiona on the naming of her blog in the slightest. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

I've been looking at her blog myself. I like the slow buildup-- gives her a chance to be seen as a person before she goes down the rabbit hole. Not being the standard model of Slendy victim (white male college student) is also nice. Her naivety could prove interesting.
Wow, that last sentence just looks creepy as hell the more I stare at it. True though: she's closer to being a child than many of the victims (if she does prove to be a victim), and since Slendy's traditional victims are children I would like to see how a younger person reacts to his influence.
I can't help but like this blog. Something about the young protagonist being involved in something beyond the comprehension of human thought really makes me want to look out for her and help her stay alive, safe, and sane. This must be how moe fans feel all the time

Oh, honey, it wasn't an argument, I just don't like it.
But I'll look at it again for you.

Only the pure of heart can use the shorter link. Duh.

You know, I'm actually rather liking this. I'll be keeping an eye out for the next entry to see how she fares venturing more deeply into slender-plot territory. I thought the typical receiving-creepy-slendy-notes was done well; she didn't jump right in to WELP MUST BE AN INTERDIMENSIONAL BEING as some tend to do.

I spent the last few days reading this and very much enjoyed it. Subscribed and everything. It's well-paced, well-written, well-characterized, and about as realistic as one of these things is going to get. I'm rooting for her, very much.
Thanks for rezzing the thread, Mr. Troll. (Ms.?)

OKAY, holy fuck.
Go to the latest entry. Read the comments. Shit brix. Look closer at them.
SHIT BRIX AGAIN.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I run a wordpress blog or three so I know you can edit comments, but taking comments, Zalgofying the text, and then using that to TWIST THE MEANING OF THE COMMENTS TO MEAN THE OPPOSITE? I have to give MAJOR props here for that.

I haven't read this, but the whole changing all of the messages sent to her thing is brilliant. I was once in a Skype conversation without a mic and the host was changing what I typed and it really freaked me out because I couldn't even tell anybody it was happening. This is like that except instead of it being for a (cruel) joke, it's possibly Slendy himself doing it to keep the girl isolated.
It almost makes me want to read this blog, but I just can't. My cootie-repulsor kicks into high gear every time I try.

Blogs don't usually affect me emotionally--I read them for the stories and the creativity. But I find this really, really genuinely unsettling.
And that is a terrible, horrible prank for someone to pull on you, Lewa. What an asshole.
This blog certainly is all over with the cooties. Sharpay? My Little Pony? Really? It's a little much for me, too.
