Just got done watching the entire commentary, and most of it was a bit disappointing I'm sad to say. But I didn't really expect any answers. Other than that, it was pretty fun at times. Very Happy

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
From what I gather, it seems like theories about Seth having a major part are not true because of him randomly coming into the series with Sarah. Also they said the stuff with the animals was thought up on the spot which was a bit surprising.

And now I finally know where they filmed the creepy-ass burnt down building scenes. I lol'd when they said it was a mental institution, and I got kinda scared when they said that they DID NOT put the "blood" on the walls. They seem to have gotten really lucky just randomly getting a place already set on fire.

Also, we now know that Troy is a pro at making things look like they fall like in entry 21 and entry 27. The stuff about Applebees was hilarious, though. He got fired for eating a jello shot, I mean really! That was great.

I also loved how the entire time there were any scary shots, everyone was talking like nothing was happening or talking about really stupid things. There was literally no mention of slenderman at all except for the interview with Tim.

I guess they were really sure not to ruin the immersion of season 2 for people by not giving any hints about any of the entries. I also laughed my ass off at the totheark entries...absolutely no talk of them at all, just the lamest jokes anyone has ever made. I didn't get the one with the guy sticking his penis in the pickle-slicer though, if anyone could explain it to me? hehe

Ok that's enough random talk about the commentary from me. Gotta watch the special features disk now!

I wasn't too surprised. They're very good at talking a lot without revealing too much.

Came home, saw an envelope with the operator symbol on the table, freaked out a little in the split second before I remembered that it was the DVD. This is such a fun series. Seriously, I don't know that I've ever gotten more enjoyment following a work of fiction than with freaking Marble Hornets.

Does anyone know who Troy is referring to when he says "the big cheese"? I'm fairly certain I heard him mention Kirill Baru at some point (who I also believe was credited as a writer in the first season).

Just got mine!

When I got home from work, my wife said: "What's this package with the odd symbol on the front? Is this from that creepy series you watch on YouTube?" My response: "Creepy series that I watch on YouTube? Which one?" Twisted Evil

Aaaaand I won't have time to watch it until Wednesday night....don't think I can stand to wait that long. Hmmm....I sense a 24 hour flu bug coming on.... Wink

look at the bios on the second disk.

I hate to be negative, but so far I'm a little disappointed by the dvd. it's worth it just to have all the entries on dvd, but i was really hoping for a little more behind the scenes stuff. in particular, i was hoping for some masky bloopers (i figured that would be ok now that they've revealed that tim is masky). hopefully we'll get some REAL behind the scenes stuff once the series is over.

Well, the side of the DVD case has a 1 on it, I guess they already planned for a season two DVD. There will probably be more on that.

So if they're being shipped from LA, I live about an hour away, and I haven't gotten mine yet, how worried should I be?

Not too worried, I'm sure you'll get it tomorrow.

I haven't watched it yet, but I'm glad they don't have any masked Tim or Operator bloopers. Bloopers from the other characters are great because we're already meant to view them as normal people, but bloopers from the two primary antagonists would be a bit much.
