I think it's because Our Hero is just too introspective and melancholy for some folk. There are no long bush-thwacking scenes, no attacking Slendy with a bat, no five-minute shots of people's feet as they walk around in the woods. The videos are a bit stripped down for now.

Seconding the recommendation that he should film himself when he sleeps. Has anyone written to him yet to recommend it?

a) This is awesome

b) I'm leaning more towards Michael becoming a Proxy than the tulpa

c) If that tie does change to black, no way in hell that's a coincidence. Maybe possessy slendy is red, angry slendy is black?

d) crazy theory: Red slendy IS a tulpa-like creature. Black slendy however is the real deal. This is the thing that stalked him as a kid and gave him the image. He then thought so much about it he turned him into an almost friend(key word: almost) that became a tulpa. When he sees Black-tie Slendy he realises this isn't the one he's been seeing lately, and this is the real, far scarier, deal.

e) That april fools is epic.

Possibly just a coincidence, but besides the set of rope next to him, that stool is damaged. He tried to commit suicide?

That would be an amazing turn of events for a slender man story, good thinking. These guys def. deserve to be up with the big three IMO.

I think that's really clever, actually! It'll be interesting too see if that's how it's intended or not. I like it Smile

Also, please forgive me for being a little slow - I'm still kind of confused on the timeline of this series. I know it's been discussed several times (I've read through this whole thread, lol) but I'm still a little puzzled. This is super nitpicky, but what threw me was in the latest video, when Michael said he sometimes wakes up in his car. If he spent all that time in an institution, when he did he have time to get a driver's license and who let him have one? :S

I'm sure it's not important to the whole plot, but I'm confused lol. Sorry, and thank you!

It's not hard to get a license, once you turn 18 you just take the test at the DMV. (In the US anyway, where this takes place)

Here in America they would give Slender Man a lic. if he waltzed in there with Michael and Eric looking all business-like in that red tie. Laughing

New vid! Will post my response after watching

EDIT:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
That was one of my most terrifying things I've seen in a while. What a close encounter with what really seemed like an actual Slender Man. Also, the first occurrence of the memory loss syndrome that always accompanies Slendy! Kinda weird how the video just ends without anyone seemingly there to stop it, but I assume it was edited out on purpose

Hmm I was expecting the distortion to fade out then he'd be able to get in and find nothing.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Sooo...is Eric dead? Tough time explaining that to the police but at least there's video evidence it wasn't him.
