 		This super trippin commercial just came on my TV that loooked TTA style. showed strange flashing words in wierd positions, sizes, and fonts, with a picture of a bizzarre tree in the background. The screen kept distorting too. I though "No fucking way, did they make a commercial?" but then it was for some DVD called MANA or something.

was a cool commercial though.

Mhmm. Just watched through the special features and the commentary (because studying for a quiz that's at 9am tomorrow wasn't important...) and was pretty impressed. I'll admit, I'm sort of a 'special features' buff, and I would love to see some actual behind-the-scenes footage for Season 2 and/or at least get some commentary about the creation of the series, but they're also freaking hilarious and that makes it worth sitting through the commentary. Also the jokes were awesome. Very Happy

Also, was anyone else glad to see some of the deleted scenes stuff and the clips from the Festival Trailer was 'new'? I love that we get to hear a little bit of what Alex actually said when they were location scouting, and the 'original entry 2' although it wasn't a revelation was pretty neat, all things considered. I'm pretty sure a few shots from the Festival Trailer were also exclusive, as in 'they weren't from any entries I remember watching'.


My only real complaints? The way-too-small font on the main DVD and the artifacts on the darker entries thanks to the super-compression they did on the video. I'm sure there was a way around pushing them that far down to keep some of the detail (although echoing a comment I read a few pages back, it did sort of add to the 'this was a YouTube video' authenticity.) I just hope that's not the actual quality of the video, considering this would be an awesome watch at a festival if it got in and was in a higher quality.

If I had to rate it, 9/10 for its few technical flaws and leaving a bit to be desired in the special features arena. Very Happy Definitely worth the money, and glad that I (we) got to support the series that has pretty much consumed most of the last several months of my life (and the past weeks/months/years of many of yours').

Watch that on a big screen. It's essentially just a video of the Twitter accout scrolled from the bottom to the top, but it's a tad hard to read them unless you're watching on an LCD or HD screen (I watched it on the CRT I had in my room and could just barely make them out, and that's with having 20/10 vision ^__^''').
