Ok, on January 27, 1921, Einstein said
"As far as the laws of mathematics refer to reality, they are not certain; and as far as they are certain, they do not refer to reality.:
source: http://www.quotationspage.com/quotes/Albert_Einstein/31

February 4 is supposedly Lieserl Einstein (his first daughter)'s birthday
source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lieserl_Einstein

April 13, 1928, Helen Dukas started working for his family

April 15, Einstein died.

Can't find any connection for feb 15
Edit: I did find something for the 27th, it's listed above.

ETA: modules site back up, tried "einstein" "relativity" "e=mc2" "alberteinstein" "energy" and "lightspeed" in module 5 to no avail.

For whoever noted birthdays, i think you might be right:

Jan 27 - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Feb 04 - Charles Lindbergh
Feb 15 - Galileo Galilei
Mar 14 - Albert Einstein
Apr 13 - Thomas Jefferson
Apr 15 - Leonardo da Vinci

E: Apparently Charles Lindbergh received the key to the city of London.
E2: Mozart said in a letter that death is the key to happiness.

That's why I said I already emailed him and asked if there was a relation to relativity. Most of those dates match to various astronomers/physicists, but the Galileo and Einstein ones--in combination with the previous password-- made me think it may have something do with the work on relativity. Go find a basic history--most of them are written as "From Galileo to Einstein." And the majority of the work was done to prove hypotheses on the nature of light.

Sorry, guess I made too many bad puns for people to get that ._.

Edit to remove: fail at reading comprehension myself. I tried most of the same passwords before I read your post, Duke.

I was trying to find some more physicists with links to those dates, and to Einstein, but I haven't quite been able to put together a coherent list. Here's what I found:

Satyendra Nath Bose - died February 4
Richard Feynman - died February 15
Albert Einstein - born March 14
John Archibald Wheeler - died April 13
Johannes Stark - born April 15

All of these physicists are connected to Einstein, or have the honour of being Einstein.

The strongest connection I could find for January 27th is that it is Holocaust Memorial Day.

Got it! Finally!

Today Lane posted this:

"------"

I immediately followed suit from Module one and...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
took the first letters of the names from Dav.y's list to get: wcgatl

it worked.

Module five is titled "Turn Down the Volume"

Its text is just this: "The day the music died..."

From Wikipedia: "On February 3, 1959, a small-plane crash near Clear Lake, Iowa, killed three American rock and roll musicians: Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, as well as the pilot, Roger Peterson. The day was later called The Day the Music Died by Don McLean, in his song "American Pie"."

Not sure where to start with this one. There are just too many words from that you could use as a password.

I think you are on the right track with that info.... but I found this interesting tidbit on another site:

"Coincidentally, February 3, 1959 saw another plane crash, this one American Airlines Flight 320. This flight crashed into the East River while on approach to LaGuardia Airport in New York. 65 of the 73 people on board were killed."

a friend had the brilliant idea that the clue was to be taken literally, and the answer was the day that that phrase corresponds to. I tried the date February 3, 1959 in several formats but none of them worked. Maybe Lane's clue will be the format we need to put the date in.

Also, could someone find out what day of the week that was? Maybe that's the answer (I'd do it, but I don't have the time right now).

I had a go with various forms of that date, but I didn't get anywhere.

I've just tried the different days of the week (based on duke9509's comment), and none of them work.

(been lurking on this thread - hi)
It was a Tuesday I think, but I tried that - not the password. Was also looking for space programme events on the same date in different years - two Discovery missions, plus the Luna 9 landing. Lead anywhere?

By writingonthemoon
I'm beginning to remember more about my past. It seems that every day I awake and things are a little bit clearer than they were the day before. This is a phenomenon that we are all experiencing.

I was talking to N the other day and mentioned that I had been raised Catholic, and that I enjoyed the rituals. I've always been cynical and questioning, so I don't think I really ever embraced the doctrine, but I enjoyed kneeling, making the sign of the cross, and dipping my fingers in holy water.

I enjoyed the chanting, which my priest always did in Latin. It made me feel somewhat mystical and other worldly.

I also liked the concept of the trinity.

-Lane

So, Latin for Moon is Luna and latin for trinity is (trinitas)three, or meaning 3-fold... there is a Triad Spacecraft... none work for password so far. There are also Triad speakers... which could have something to do with sound/radio/turn down the volume ? Just thinking out loud...

Fortunately, I'm well acquainted with the lyrics to 'American Pie', and I know what the trinity is.

The password for module 6 is 'fathersonholyghost'

Next module:

This might just be pointing out something you guys have already noticed, but just in case it isn't, I thought I might point out that I had noticed that all of the posts which were module clues had been tagged "modules."

This includes the "storyline" post entitled "Religion" which was the clue to the last module. I was a little surprised when it turned out a clue had been hidden in a post that otherwise seemed purely storyline-related. Now I know what to look for in the future to determine immediately whether or not this is the case.

Here's hoping I'm not sounding like that points-out-the-obvious guy that everyone hates!
