TP's paintings are in the portfolio section, which is now live:

http://www.theabandonedwindmill.com/portfolio.html

Interestingly, the red rook painting is misspelled in the file:

http://www.theabandonedwindmill.com/marchoftheredroodpreview.jpg

Probably a typo, but it jumped out at me.

Wow some amazing finds! Great job!

I just hope the new painting venture doesn't take up time from the storyline Wink Great way to offer something back to the PM especially after the whole shipping business cards anywhere thing.

I do like his paintings. (I wonder if the buyers will receive anything "extra"/mysterious in the mail)
The hash tags in the earlier notes still kind of bug me, I would guess they mean something different for each note.
North1, nice thioughts on some of the cellar references.

I think it might be another way of simply saying, "There is something supernatural [and possibly evil] going on in upstate NY."

Trying to find meaning in the hash marks has been driving me nuts. All I can figure out is that in each pattern there are always two and only hashes. They all come in sets of 5, or 10, depending on how you look at it.

|†||| |||†| = a direct mirror copy on one 5, perhaps related in some way that when Pickman's twitter was taken over the thing that did it wrote in a similarly mirrored way.
"Hostile" was written under it.
Came with the newspaper clipping about the fire at the mill, whose missing letters spelled out "beware the men in black rings."
People mentioned in the clipping include: Edmund Grace, Fire Chief D. Warton, Peter Bergman

||††| ||||| = I can't see any pattern with this one. Compared to the previous, one has moved right 1 and another moved left 5 so now they're side-by-side.
"In direcT SerVICE" was written under it.
It also came with the newspaper clipping of the fire. These are the only two notes to come with two hash messages.
Possible reason why? Pickman received a note before this one. "Welcome to the area neighbor." It's the only note without hash marks. So perhaps this one is meant for the newspaper clipping and "Hostile" for the welcome message.

‡|||| ||||| = rather than think of ‡ as a new mark, perhaps we should think of it as simply a | with now both hashes over top it.
"Heir" was written under it.
It came with an obituary of Edmund Erasmus Grace. Also noted is his son Emmet and his grandson Edmund II. Emmet Grace actually came by for a visit to Pickman's windmill on 4/7/11. So here is possibly our "heir".
A vignere from the missing letters created the phrase "not dead but."

||||† ||† || = we finally figured out how to use these hash marks!
"INiTIATE" written under it.
It came with a picture of a flaming seraph [possibly in reference to Satan? but also note that fire played a role earlier with the first newspaper clipping] and a long stream of garbled text. Taking the 5th and 3rd letter of the stream after excluding the first four creates "strange in upstate NY".

All in all: Bang Head

Assuming that he did break the window, unconsciously, I wonder if he'd be willing to perform some sort of test. Like recording himself (audio or video), or even setting up for painting before going to bed to see if he unconsciously paints.

Of course, I'm still waiting for a response to my first email about the newest paintings name.

Perhaps its not a Seraph? The sword seems important. Angel with a sword...archangel?

Archangel wiki:
Uriel means "Fire of God," or "Light of God" (III Esdras 3:1, 5:20). He is depicted holding a sword against the Persians in his right hand, and a flame in his left.

Edit: I'll try to look more into it later

ten numbers

Thanks to bluesylvia I just wasted an hour of my life playing with lines and dashes:

|†||| |||†|
||††| |||||
‡|||| |||||
||||† ||†||
||||| ||‡||

Thinking it might be a phone number I came up with 2934115888
Not a valid number. backwards though it is 8885114392 which leads to a virtual operator nobody picked up.

Laughing You're welcome! If it's any consolation, I spent about an hour convinced that perhaps "sacred site" + an angel on fire was a hint to find an angelfire website Wink

That was a very fruitless search as well!

About the last entry, I was the one who asked about his water source like a maniac. He's keeping the subject (I mean, he's all OMG MAYBE MY WATER IS OK MAYBE NOT WHAT NOW), so I think we still have our well. He answered my e-mail with that:

tpickamn wrote:
As you may have seen in a recent entry of mine, I asked my dad about the water. He says he thinks it comes from the normal source, but I don't know of a way to check whether this is true. Do you have any advice?

Suggestions?

(I'm using the computer between classes, so I'm without my CORRECTION GUY. sorry about any engrish or typo or so)

Heh. Might not be so far-fetched.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I never even noticed a connection to angelfire. http://strangeinupstate.angelfire.com/
At first glance it doesn't have much relevant to the game, but going to the Conspiracy section reveals something interesting.
"The so called "Sons of Grace" became a formally recognized institution after the death of their so-called founder Edmund Grace in 1897. The organization is centered around the Lyons area, but has spread roots throughout the upstate area, reaching through Rochester, Syracuse and Albany.

While the Sons of Grace appear on the surface to be a religious institution, they have never been granted non-profit status by the state of NY, and hold no officially declared religious affiliation or denomination. By those in the know it is almost universally believed to be a front of some kind; but there is dispute as to whether it's true purpose is as innocent as something like Moose or Rotary International, or as sinister as the Free Masons, Rosicrucians, or Illuminati. Indeed there are those who suggest its origins go back much further than its official founding.

What is known is that the organization is still run by the Grace family, makes annual local charitable donations, and is rumored to involved in local politics. The heads of the organization supposedly habitually wear two hematite rings, a practice which is said to extend to lower members. Dispute arises as to the purpose and symbolism of the rings, ranging in possibility from a sign of devotion to Satan, to a secret code between members depending on which fingers the rings are worn on."

Now I suppose we should tip off Pickman. What else can we do with this information?

^^^ Oh nooo! I tried strangeinupstateny.angelfire.com so close... Crying or Very sad hahaha oh well.

Redluckycharm, well water is free, isn't it? So if Tom's dad doesn't pay a monthly water bill for the property then I think that's the clearest indication his water is coming from some hidden well.
