It's the first vlog series, so far as I'm aware, but not the first "ARG", that would indeed be EverymanHYBRID.

It also didn't invent Slenderman, and is not the first ongoing narrative about him, they're just the first to use video. Again, so far as I'm aware.

Also, if you don't wanna watch commercials, just use adblock. It's beautiful.
