Just do it, man. If there's one thing I've learned it's that it's easy to go stir crazy with this and the etiquette is 75% in your mind. That being said, I'm using what's left of mine (etiquette, not my mind) to leave this to you or someone else.

Also, I always thought the tragic hero/unattainable companion thing referred to Jeff and Jessa, but who knows, I guess.

Anyway, shit like this is why Alex is always in the background with a goofy grin on his face doing absolutely nothing. I don't think he's a good source at the moment. At this point (and especially considering the sweet, sweet OOG nectar of Jeff's blog) I think it's just a waiting game.

So, while we wait, that whole Tragic Hero/Unattainable Companion thing. Working with a standard definition of a tragic hero (the hero who makes a mistake that leads to his downfall) doesn't really narrow down our option. Under a certain worldview, even Slendy could be a hero here; they are a dime a dozen and going fast. However, unattainable companions are in short supply.

Jessa (for Jeff) is the obvious one. I think y'all have talked this one to death already, so suffice to say she's pretty unobtainable.

If the video this appeared in (Slushpops and Surprises) was HABIT's first impact on the plot, he's a good candidate as well. But as hero or companion? If he's the hero, he needs a companion-- Slendy? If, as has also been discussed at length, he's a being that possesses others than that would make him a companion to whomever he's wearing as a meatsuit. Evan's the likely bet, but again: cards up in air, fan still spinning.

If HABIT is the companion, his non-corporeal nature would make him something like "unobtainable"-- uncapturable, unprovable, unknowable, sure. But not quite unobtainble, and it bothers me.

The video that message was in held the coordinates to the first box. I need to look over the rest of the contents of the boxes, which will be easier once my connection is no longer pure ass, but whoever is sending the boxes is probably Hero or Companion.

Now we just need to figure out who's sending the boxes. Sad



I think the Jeff in the "Welcome to the Ark" video represents the viewers at home, combing through videos in search of something that may or may not exist.

As trees go, it's only a bit flaily.

You are correct, but remember that time and space have fled every which way, disregarding our beloved logic. I'm pretty sure that the big finale will be on Easter, but it won't be announced until May or possibly June. Only people who can figure out how to dance outside linearity will be able to participate.
