[DEAD SERIES] The dreaming room (deeply terrible vlog) thats right...2080twentyeightY is back...trolol
Quote:
2080twentyeightY is off YouTube!!!!!!!!!! But... they made a new channel... TheDreamingRoom. It's better than 2080twentyeightY. But it's copying EverymanHYBRID. They are going for an ARG, because there is distortion (better looking than 2080twentyeightY) but slenderman has yet to appear. They have also made up their fictional protagonists
Nick---Fredi Lindor
Brandon---Alan Hartford
Aidan---Eric Hartford
There may be more characters to come, i don't know. It looks like it's scripted and well thought out besides just sitting in front of a camera and forgetting what to say. Let's actually support this one, and give it a chance!
Is the description given by someone who OF COURSE was not 2080, but called "idontlike2080twentyeightY" This apparent "Scriptwriting" is laughable. Furthermore this person who WAS NOT 2080 gave a link

Which, considering they DID NOT own the channel was a link that could only be given by the owner, this is shown from the =mhum part.
How deeply trolltastic and roflicious.[/b]

Yeah, he wasn't trying. I mean, the guest name was "idontlike2080twetyeightY". It would be like calling myself "BoatWithAHoleInItSucksAss"

I'm loving the amazing *random cough* acting skills
Well it looks like they might have planned this, but its just them reading random stuff off a computer while they have funky distortion going on. Plot? What's that?

Serious advice, Dreaming Roomers: make stuff, but don't put them out for the public to see. Find someone who will give brutally honest advice, but won't troll like everyone here is inclined to (myself included, admittedly). Get feedback, learn how to do things better, get experience, and then work on improving your skills. Come back in a year or two, maybe. Your hearts are in the right place, but (and you're not going to want to hear this) your work's not particularly good. You have ideas, and you have heart, but you don't quite know how to make those ideas *good* ideas, or how to execute them properly. That comes with time and experience. Keep making videos, but if you keep showing them to us, we'll just keep mocking you, and that's not exactly healthy for you guys.
Or, you know, embrace that your series is cheesy and just take us mocking it in good humor. Because while our feedback isn't exactly constructive, we are giving you guys feedback.

Are they old enough to be using youtube?
On a serious note, this is bad. I couldn't write scripts for shit when I was their age (and I can't now) but I never made a video of it. I like the concept, just the execution is shit.

Hey, I'm only a couple of years older then them and I am helping my friend make a slendervlog, while starting my own written one. Albiet using 2080 as a rolemodel of what not to be on both
(and dont insult my dark lord Alan, everybody loves him )

I'm not going to see this one. Even though I haven't seen 2080, I don't want to risk it.
This is what worries me when I want to make my series someday. I have no experience with acting and I always have that worry about criticism. If anyone can give me tips, that would be awesome.
Anyway, I'm skipping this series.

The good thing is that you can take the criticism and improve on it. Whereas the 2080 crew failed to take our criticisim on the first series, carried it on, BS'ed all of it then started again.
If your making a series just stay strong, and take peoples criticsm and advice.

Just going to toss my views in here, but I'm not really that bothered with this series. It isn't a wonderful, quality show out there, but I have nothing against them trying to make a series. When you first start working in a creative field, most of your early stuff is going to be bad. When I look at the stories I wrote when I was their age, about 90% of it is complete utter crap. But that crap was part of the learning process, and it helped me improve. People who are younger and more inexperienced aren't going to be producing things as high quality as those who've had practice. Now, this doesn't make them immune to criticism; in fact, it means they need criticism more, as it helps them improve. But it's no reason for them to stop making things entirely.
So long as they don't keep posting here about the series, I have no problems with it existing. I'm actually a regular follower; there's a soft spot in my heart for things which I can't take seriously.
