ETA: TENTACLES AT 4:22, I'm pretty sure. The distortion starts up at that exact moment also. I'm having trouble getting a good screen grab, though.


I don't think those are tentacles. That's probably just mystery person's hair blowing in the wind.

It played after she pulled the note out of the bear. I think it might have been one of those sound boxes, like you find in some build-a-bear plushies.

I'm going to disagree, just because it moves so strangely. Could be it isn't tentacles, but I don't think it's hair, either.

Also going to second whoever said the crawler was wearing a blindfold. (also makes sense with the whole "sight" theme)

Blindfold. The figure is blindfolded.

I thought it might be Mr. I Don't Talk to People, but he's too thick in the arms and the hair's not right. He's awfully quiet, isn't it? Must be a great roomie, to put up with a chick having a psychotic break and a baby...

TJ pulled something else out of the bear. It looks shiny, possibly a bracelet or some other sort of jewelry.

That sound is the bear. Soundbox.

I know this is hair, because I have hair like that. It's thick, it's curly, and it defies gravity. It does not flow gently down my shoulders, but snaps combs, threatens branches, and tries to strangle me in my sleep.

So, not entirely unlike tentacles, but yes, hair.

I can show you junior high photos that will make the Slenderman look like Mr Softee.

ETA for actual answer: I could get 2" tall '80s bangs without using any product besides a brush. Coarser-textured hair can be stiff and wiry that way. It doesn't lay flat or move like shampoo commercial hair.

Also, to be frank, I don't think the ladies have the budget for tentacle technology.

I was wondering the same thing. It looks like they don't have very many viewers so far (which is an absolute crime), but it might be worth trying to ask TJ a few things -- like if she uploaded the video, for one, or what she found inside the gutted bear.

 		I'm really enjoying this so far, in my opinion it's too early to judge how good it will truly be as a lot of this series seem to hit a creative wall or paint themselves in to a corner but I have high expectations for this.

 		It's good the two have at least the sanity to talk to eachother about it and actually team up against whatever it is that is after them. I find it very interesting that there is an explicit goal to protect the child now, and that's definitely something that hasn't been done in any series so far
