I imagine this means we're looking for an eleven-letter word. Given the observation made about the site, I tried 'Objectivism', but that didn't work.

noticed something: the post doesn't appear to have a title. But if you click on 'writingonthemoon' (where it says the author's name), on the right hand side, according to the list of recent posts the new post is titled "81". don't know if that's of any significance or not, but thought it was weird that it didn't have a title but is listed as such under recent posts.

NB: probably again clutching at straws, but there was a periodical which ayn rand edited called "the ayn rand letter" which had exactly 81 issues. But aynrandletter isn't the password, and is obviously longer than 11 letters. so probably just coincidence. Ah well.

Perhaps the middle part is 'ION'?

Hey, Lane just posted a grainy pic of some weird blue lights.
The tooltip/filename is yesterdayistomorrow.

It's NOT tagged "modules," so I don't think it's pertinent to the puzzle however

you know, the post with the three lines of dashes also wasn't tagged modules.

Either Lane is trying to be trickier by not tagging the related posts, or that one isn't related either.

(my vote is for the former, considering that the three lines of dashes still add up to 11 dashes, same as the tagged single line)

Either that, or he just forgot to tag it, I've done that with posts on my blog before.

Either way, this means that you should ignore my comment about the lights image not being pertinent, as it seems that, for all I know, it could be.

I think the lights might have something to do with the modules. If you look under 'recent posts' on the right hand side, any post which has a number for the title seems to be a clue for the modules. That includes the lights.

Don't suppose that the lights might have something to do with an ion?

(Was so frustrated, before he posted 11 dashes, I saw 'atomism' as one of the isms on that list. Was convinced that would have been the password but alas...)

I feel like relativity is involved here.

We've examined Einstein before, the module is "History 101", the picture shows lights (which make me think of stars, whose light is seen from Earth long after it is emitted) and "yesterday is tomorrow" is the filename.

"Relativity" and "relativism" (yes, a different idea, I know) are 10 characters though.

I thought maybe "anachronism", which is 11 characters, but that didn't work either. I'm not sure where to go from here, but those are my ramblings/thoughts.

EDIT: I've pulled out all of the "isms" from our ism list that are eleven characters long. The list is available here

Might be a bit of a red herring, since it seems we're prolly looking for three words. But they're worth a shot, I suppose.

ION

lurker-

I also looked at the science/history end, but to me the picture looks more like a group of ion turbines. These have been used in space travel for awhile now. How that might relate to the password, I'm not totally sure.

The 11 letter isms are frustrating me to no end. I tried to look at those related to religion and/or science, but nothing turned up. I can't help thinking it's actually 3 words grouped together, since the other modules' passwords were like that. Just throwing stuff around...

Solved module 7

Everyone overthought this. It's one of these two:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ismsandions
or
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
ionsandisms

I tried both but forgot which one worked.

This reveals:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Be, Being, Been

Where would you go, if you could only go one place?

Would be a place in space or a place in time?

Time travelers.

Space travelers.

Ocean voyagers.

Cross-country trekkers.

Did anyone every find what they were really looking for?

Will you?

looks like we've already gotten our clue for this one...

The capitalized letters in the title spell "ISMS"

And this one IS tagged "modules."

Is there an ism that has to do with the sun and might match the module clue?

Also, the module has the word that should be "ever" spelled "every." Is that a clue or a PM typo?

Oh, and I think Lane caught his mistake on not tagging those last two posts.
Both were re-tagged modules,
and
- - - -
- - -
- - - -
was changed to
- - - -
and
- - - -

Oh, and, BTW, what did WCGATL have to do with that answer?
