Any Halo-junkie out there who's read this book, can you back this up? "The Truth" being a driving force for the Covenant is news to me.

Also just to re-state the current possibilities in the Haloverse:

Soldier volunteers->drugs and training->Spartan I program

Smart AND athletic youth->kidnapped and replaced with flash clone(Kamal's Jasmine, and very nearly Janissary)->SPARTAN II program

Smart people (like Rani?)->death (accidental?)->brain-scan->AI personality

Kudos again to Clamatius for the spec

I don't think Yasmine was turned into an AI. Her story seems to fit much, much better with the Spartan II program.

Yasmine could have been through both situations--if she didn't survive to being a full Spartan 2, they probably still could have patterned an AI off of her brain.

 		Anything is possible, so it is possible for OC to be referring to ILB. You might want to bear in mind that OC is not being done by the same people as ILB. I'm sure there are people that would debate that (there always are), but we know in many ways that this is a totally seperate project.

Since ILB has ended, you will probably be much better off bringing this up back in a new or realated thread back at the OC section of the forum. Most of us looking over the ILB forums are just interested in ILB follow-up or nostalgia, and some of us aren't following OC for one reason or another. I guarantee that you will get the best bang for your buck in the OC section, since everyone there is up-to-date and hungry to understand the game more. Just make a hyperlink back to this thread in your post, and everyone can jump over here to read what you've read.
