Marble Hornets isn't dying, it's just slowly but surely heading to the end of the series, all this build-up will no doubt lead to some brilliant conclusion, I can feel it. They wouldn't let all this hype die, with all this anticipation for what'll happen next. Razz

I'm two minds about this. IMO the "worst case scenario" would be if MH ends the same way Just Another Fool did. That could entail either
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
an abrupt fade-to-black ending or killing off Jay in an implied Cliffhanger
but in any case I'd probably be just a smidge disappointed.

Of course the "best case scenario" a.k.a. the thrilling conclusion could be anything, personally I think it'd be a neat twist if it ended a la
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Within Hubris, complete with fourth wall-breaking "THE OPERATOR'S COMING AFTER YOU NEXT, VIEWER!" sucker punch
but that's just me.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The original ending was supposed to be along the lines of JAF, according to Troy and Joseph in the youtube interview, but it sounded like they now have bigger plans in mind.

Havent hit the forums since I posted this glad to see it got some buzz. I mean its not like I dont enjoy the series, and yes waiting can be a great way to add suspense blah blah, but sometimes the gaps seem to lead to "Hey, remember MH? I bet they still havent left entry (insert last months entry)." Yes, thats a bit blown up lol, but still. A weekly youtube video series is great, because you KNOW when its comin, but MH troy can take all the time he wants and just use some quick in-game excuse on twitter to draw time. I understand they are busy, but MH is like a hobby to them, you put as much time as you choose to into it, No one is busy 24/7 constantly. It all really falls on how much time ((or free time for that matter)) they choose to spend on it, it just happens to be that their hobby is HUGE and fans crave more. And id wanna be the rock alex smashed tim with lol

Do it again? Why would you do it again? You'd just get stuck in a loop of unhappiness.

I'd like to audition for the role of the silver case and tape combo found in the Red Tower.

*ahem*

WATCH THIS.

As for the topic itself, I have to agree with what a lot of the others are posting - Marble Hornets itself isn't on the decline, it's just that the fandom has become even more rabid. Things are getting interesting - really interesting - and the series is finally looking like it might start offering some answers to all of the questions raised in Season 1. Naturally, we're all more on edge (at least I am) in between entries, since each new post could potentially offer something new. So when an entry or post doesn't immediately come out and meet all of our expectations/tell us everything (or seemingly *anything*), then the importance of each entry is undermined, which could feasibly make it seem like the series is dying out.

That said, I wasn't around for much of Season One (I started watching MH the very day it came back from the 7 month hiatus), so I can't really say what the mood and anticipation was like around here then.

It's not the fact that they don't have free time to dedicate to MH, it's that they don't always have free time at the same time. Troy and Joseph have different schedules, and Troy has said many times that he works on stuff he can do alone until both he and Joseph are free at the same time.
