[OT] slendy paranoia So I have kind of a general question for you all. Do you ever get paranoid about slenderman/masky watching you or any other paranoia about the marble hornets series? If so post some weird stories you've had about it.
I'm always rushing through the kitchen freaked out and one time i about flipped out because my brother's friend snuck into our driveway, climbed into the dog pen and put his hand up against the window and he just started scraping at the window.
My friend also told me about when they got almost no sleep the night before, and as they were eating breakfast they swore they saw Tim's mask floating outside the window.

Every single time I watch a video I get paranoid for a while. Or when I come across it on TVTropes, because inevitably someone will have added "he only exists when you think about him" there and I'll get freaked out again.

Hello, icy780 and swenson!
Just inb4 somebody else brings it up and possibly slams you about making this thread, this thread sort of already exists here in the Marble Hornets Real Life thread. Basically a 'something happened in real life that was akin to Slenderman stalking or MH' forum, as well as a place to riff about slendernoia.
Feel free to share yours (and also read through the 36 pages of hilarious and frightening stories).

I sometimes feel genuine terror in a Marble Hornets-esque place. Or if I swear I see Slendy.

When I started watching it I was looking over my shoulder constantly that first week. I watched the first bunch of entries not knowing whether it was well established that MH was a fictional show, or if it was supposed to be real. I'm not exactly what you'd call a skeptic.

I came in knowiing it was fiction, but it still bugged me. I posted a story in the "encounters" (I think it was called) thread, whhich explains where my paranoia really started. Then I read about the Tulpa theorem of Slender existnece... Now I'm almost always looking over my sholuder worrried He will be there, watching.

I look over my shoulder a lot, and it doesn't help that i'm nearsighted so I can sometimes see warped images, and it also doesn't help that there's a mirror exactly behind me.

There are a lot of street lights on campus that are about 9-10 feet tall, and the light is surrounded by white glass, and some of them are place right next to trees. I feel like I see Slendy's face peeking from behind a tree every time I approach one at night.
Also, my boyfriend gave me this balloon which I tied to my desk chair near my bed, and I often woke up, saw it sway in the corner of my eye, and thought it was a faceless person for a second. Probably dumb but I had a few sleepless nights during that time >.<

There was one time I had to go to the bus stop at 6:40am, and it was really dark still, and foggy. Nobody was at the bus stop for 10 minutes and it really creeped me out. No cars were passing by.
Also, shortly before this happened I wrote in my ARG blog that the weather that week was foggy (it really wasn't), then all of a sudden it actually gets foggy. Kind of creepy.

Usually happens when I go out for a walk with my dog, the way he reacts to his surroundings sometimes is creepy so with the thoughts that something might be watching us always come to my head.
