The only way to make a decent MH or Slenderman movie would be to produce it on the same budget as the MH videos. (Get John Sayles to direct.)
I'm actually on a team of indie filmmakers set to start production on a Slender Man movie this summer (starting May 20th). It has nothing to do with Marble Hornets specifically, though, and I'm not allowed to spread any information. For what it's worth, though, it does have a MH-sized budget.

Are people still fucking talking about The Tall Man like it has ANYTHING to do with Slenderman
Also, "some sexual content" in Marble Hornets would be hella awkward

I think a movie could be made about slenderman but it would have to be low budget and i mean possibly lower than or right around what clerks was made for, $50,000 or something like that... you see what Troy and Joseph do on their budget I'm sure it could be done right if the right people made it. just my opinion on it could work.

that's because it is obviously inspired by it.
that or...you know.....anything that has to do with children being abducted...but that's never happened before in history

I wonder what would happen if I edited the marble hornets poster title into the Tall Man.
but if I did, there would be no legit room for the crossed out "O". >:

Personally, I think a real Marble Hornets movie would be released on April 4th, 2012. Or whatever year it'd be.

A higher budget would allow Slenderman to actually be tall, and to spread his tentacles and really get involved.
And that can only be a good thing, as seen in EverymanHYBRID and TribeTwelve

You kidding me? "Obviously"? Maybe I'm missing some sarcasm here, but...
Does that look like Slenderman?
Because I don't really think it does.

I don't see what's wrong with a big budget Slendy movie. As long as most of the budget is used towards effects and actors (Paid actors).

If I were making the movie, I would sign Matt Reeves/JJ Abrams to direct & produce. They worked wonders with the shaky hand-camera film style in Cloverfield.

Oh god if anyone were to make a Slender Man movie it should be JJ Abrams.
He would do such wonderful things with it, and it would probably retain a majority of the mindfuckery that the SM series are known for.

The Slenderman in that one completely ruins it for me.
