 		I'm going to throw my hat in the direction of Seth, since Alex and Tim weren't near each other and Warning, as well as Entry ######, have images of Masky when Tim and Alex weren't near each other.

That is, unless we want to believe that those two videos were the result of masky hacking two separate accounts and sending warnings. Which is entirely possible.

But I tend to believe that it would be someone who could work with masky, who would need to be nearby. So Seth?

when was that, exactly? TTA has shown masky on camera, and told jay that masky was all up in his room, but i don't think TTA has ever said "IT IS I, MASKY!!"

TTA's channel isn't a secret, what if TTA and TimMasky are working against each other, Tim saw the video, read Jay's tweets and knew he would be going back to the house, so he tried to use that to his own advantage, or tried to scare Jay away, or even tried to help him (in some way unknown to him and us as of yet).
Just as possible.

A lot of people have theorized that Masky was there to scare Jay away from totheark, or Slender Man if Slender Man was simply talking through totheark. This is made unlikely though, as totheark knew Jay was filming himself (Messages: "You have been keeping secrets,") and then Jay realizing this is what totheark meant looked through his footage of filming himself. Masky was there, and then in the "Return" totheark video, Jay was in the hallway wearing the same clothes from that night, and Slender Man is there. Masky probably filmed this. totheark video "Warning," also has Masky in it, and Entry ###### has Masky in it (He's probably also the one talking, he sounds like Tim a bit.) Recent totheark videos seem to be saying "Don't trust Alex." Entry #35 gives Tim/Masky plenty of reason to be pissed off at Alex. If Tim/Masky isn't totheark, totheark seems to be working with Masky.

The assumption that Tim filmed "Return" is based on Jay catching Tim on tape in his apartment in the preceding video, just before Jay himself goes on walkabout. TTA sends a video that says "come back/find me," and Jay goes back to Alex's house ("where Brian could be located"), and there's Tim. Could be Jay's being told to find Alex, or Brian, or Tim. Could be Tim follows the message too and that's why he's at the house (except less Scooby Doo and more 12 Monkeys). Could be Tim shows up to interfere with the plan. Could be Tim has no clue about message or plan and just shows up now and then to wait to stab Alex, and subsequently follows Jay home. Hell, under a twisted cat-and-mouse scenario for TTA and Tim, it makes plenty of sense for Tim to show up at the house after TTA directs Jay there and for TTA to show up at Jay's apartment after Tim's spotted there--they're stalking/dodging each other and Jay's just along for the ride. It could mean a number of things, including but not exclusive to Tim being TTA.

(Better than "find me," the creepy movie dialogue seems to do more for the Tim=TTA theory: "Go upstairs to your room. I will surround your bed. Close the windows, so that none will ever again be able to enter. I will be waiting for you." Three videos later, Tim's upstairs surrounding beds. But anyway.)

Pet theories are awesome and give us a context for building a nice house of cards, but if we present our assumptions are facts and smack others with them, then we cut off a whole swath of options for interpretation.

I also think we may be missing the forest for the limping trees. I'm still wondering what that mystery text in white could mean.

 		Don't know if this has been mention, because obviously I'm not going to read the whole thread, but all of you seem to be disregarding tothearks attention video where it clearly states "return to us".

Which leads me to believe totheark is more than one person.

Y'know, I used to wonder whether or not TTA's use of the default profile picture (which has no face) and the grey background of his channel (somewhat like the Operator's skin) were alluding to this... this would also explain why TTA's videos are so messed up and cryptic; Slendy's presence causes the video to get screwed up!

I probably won't be too surprised if this were the case. I was originally one of those people solidly in the TTA = Timasky camp, but Entry 39 and Forecast together lead me to open my mind a bit more.

I think the person filming Jay in his car could be Alex, who together with Tim/Masky collectively comprise totheark. But if this were the case, then how would one explain Entry 35?

Older discussion threads had floated around the theory of Alex and Tim previously working together but then having a falling-out that for all intents and purposes now places them on opposite sides. I had a random slightly darker idea though, feel free to dismiss this theory as another one of my fanwank-y brain farts:

What if Entry 35 was nothing but a set-up? What if Alex and Tim were only pretending to be on opposite sides to throw Jay off the trail? Maybe Tim was meant to be the "legs" of the TTA operation while Alex was more of the mastermind behind-the-scenes; Entry 35 was them putting on a show and Tim being the "fall guy" so that Jay would trust Alex again and become a more willing stooge to all of their totheark-y machinations.

Granted, this together with 39/Forecast doesn't make a lick of sense, but those two events happened over 7 months apart. Maybe 39/Forecast is merely totheark incorporated's way of mocking Jay: "Ha ha, you fell for our trap so bad it's now too late for you to save yourself."
