 		So has anyone actually asked Evan or Steph precisely what in God's name possessed his family to let a semi-random College age female live in their house and eat all their food for an indeterminate period of time? Has Steph mentioned seeing Evan's family around?

The reason I ask is that perhaps Alex isn't the only one in denial...

That might be a good thing to ask actually. Even if there's nothing plot-relevant to it, their cover story should be interesting to hear.

 		I remember the guys mentioning Evan's parents back when the first incident with the "Slender Intruder" happened. I believe it was in a tweet.

I thought that too, but decided that it may be a case of "arc words" or "thematic significance" more than a personality trait. Though I guess that "crossing it out because she made a mistake" could translate to "suppressing HABIT." Though I don't think she would have had internet access while incarcerated, but I suppose it's possible.

 		I'll be Vinnie! Even though my hair is light blonde, I'm 5'7", and I have a physical inability to grow facial hair beyond a scraggly goatee I'm sure it will work out!

 		Okay I am back and have caught up. I have little theory to contribute outside of things pretty much already said.

However it is interesting that the rake was actively using something as lure. Maybe the rake is more cunning and thoughtful than we have previously lead to believe. If that's the case we know Alex is attached to Sparky so it was a good bait method. Have we noticed the Rake using anyone else as bait though like is their evidence something or someone could have been used as bait for people before maybe?

Maybe the blood on Mitten's grave was put there by the Rake? In which case it worked as a lure, since the crew went out to investigate.

But the Rake didn't attack then. They just found Slendy chilling on the deck when they got back.
I don't think we have proof of any previous baiting by the Rake. Maybe Vinnie's phone, but there are other explanations for that too.
