Did he say 'that noise?' at the end? Can they hear the Slendytone?

I've noticed that MLAndersen0 is a little harder to follow than Tribe Twelve and Marble Hornets. I'm not sure why it is exactly, but I've found myself having to regularly go back and re watch older episodes to get back into the continuity of it all where even with Tribe Twelve's once a month updates I feel like I can pick it up at anytime without any problems.

I'm really enjoying the series, I just have trouble keeping up with it sometimes.

I liked the switch up in posting those last two vids, it made me really want to go back and see what lead up to all the screaming and driving lol.
Shaun's acting may have been a little bit off but IMO it was great interaction between him and Michael, then the damned screaming in the car Shocked
I was actually very impressed. These guys have their shit together apparently.

I just rewatched both videos and I still get chill bumps from that freakin' screaming. Shaun is really going to regret coming home. I just have an inkling. Cool

No, it was obviously 'Michael it's Gurrr it's Gurrr!', because Shaun is a diehard Invader Zim fan.
At first, I've heard it "It's Lucky Star! It's Lucky Star!" Hey, no wonder why he was panicking.

Oh hullo, series with the cutie. Why haven't we met yet?

The disconnect between these characters is really interesting and weird. Shaun cares enough about Michael to tell him that they all love him and don't want him to hang himself, enough to go back with him just for that reason (but not enough to hug him, c'mon, someone needs to hug Michael since I can't). But he doesn't care enough to be a roadblock between him and Slendy or even agree with Michael that they should fight. What does Shaun think Slenders wants with Michael? Does he think Slender Man DOESN'T want to kill Michael? I mean, not that we really know what SM wants either, in any of these series, but Shaun seems to be afraid for his own life, but not for his brother's. Unless he's talking about suicide. And then he does.

Agh, I am rambling on and on with no purpose or reason, but I find these two really frustrating. This constant dance between being allies and not being allies and what do they care about each other or not, huh? ...The ambiguity is equal parts intriguing and annoying.

I don't think it's that Shaun's not afraid for Michael's life as it is he's sure of his earlier message--that Michael needs to put it out of mind and forget. Picking at the scab is only making things worse.

Some personality disorders come with a big dose of ally/enemy thinking--BFFs as long as you toe the line but the only correct answer is enthusiastic agreement, so the minute you offer subjective disagreement you become a villain in their story. It's a lot of drama to live with, especially when they start dragging in mutual friends to harass you for being an asshole (after telling them their own highly filtered version of events). For examples, just go back through this thread--Michael kidnapped, drugged, and assaulted Shaun to make him agree with him, but Shaun's still the bad guy because of that video uploaded ages ago?

Both brothers are selective about their interpretation of reality...

This is slightly off-topic, but I must admit it's healthy debate between two people like this, that's backed up with sound evidence and logical conclusions, that restores my faith in humanity.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Even if the debate is about a mythical internet creature.

Thank you, Maychorian and Mokie.

This is true. Shaun is certainly willing to advise Michael, from a distance. And really, I don't blame him at all for wanting to keep himself alive. It actually makes a lot of sense for brothers who have been effectively separated for most of their lives--an abstract sort of love and desire to protect without the passion (so to speak) or action to back it up. I definitely find it realistic. But frustrating. (Especially since I spent the last few years enamored with Supernatural, in which this is NEVER an issue. Wink)

Haha, no, I definitely don't see Shaun as a bad guy. I never did, actually. Even in the first video after that upload, when Michael was moaning on and on about how betrayed he felt, I was more exasperated with Michael than with Shaun and Eric. Yes, it was a breech of trust, but they didn't do it to hurt Michael, but to protect Michael's viewers. I understood that and I never hated them for it. (Though, yes, my frustration with their disconnect probably started then.)

Michael is definitely very, very manipulative, and while he probably learned that out of sheer survival, it does mean that his hat isn't pure white, either. Each of these characters has his own faults and strengths, and truly, it just makes me love them more. Which makes me want them to love each other more. (Platonicly; I'm not a slasher.) Anyway.

MORE LUV, U GAIZ.

I so need to go back and catch up with that series...

Michael also seems to screw with Shaun's perception, and fear of becoming mentally ill is common in families where someone already is. Maybe Shaun's distancing himself because he worries about losing it like Michael has. His brother is a little crazy and insists he sees things; Shaun sees nothing. Or does he? And when he does (maybe), is it real, and did he really see it, or has Michael planted the idea and screwed with his head like Eric feared he'd do with viewers? Michael wants everyone to confirm that they see what he sees, to prove he's not crazy. Maybe to Shaun, admitting it would mean that they're both crazy.

Yes! It reminded me of a friend's cryptic warning years ago about not taking sides in a certain bit of high school drama (as it turned out, the poor bullied participant was a psycho hosebeast). I don't know if there is a non-asshole way to tell people, "As his friend, I'm telling you not to trust him."

Gads, yes. Even Slendy appears to have his good points in this series. XD

LOVEFEST!
