Fibonacci sequence is actually 1, 1, 2, 3, 5...* You add the previous two numbers, so you have to start with 2 ones to get the 2.

Well, strictly speaking the base case is a 0 in the original conception, but it works with 1, though I suppose you could make that argument for choosing any two arbitrary consecutive numbers in the sequence as your base cases.


i'll go with a part of fibonnaci then. 1,2,3, and 5 suck out to me, like 13,21,34,55 would.

none of this matters because i'm dead wrong anyways.

It's just a reindexed sequence of partial sums. Rather than beginning at n=0, you begin at n=1.

So fibonacci = Habit? I always knew that guy was trouble.

Concerning the speculation, if the dates were actually exactly n #months apart to the day, or all released on the same day during the month, I would put more stock in it. It'd be a cool tie in, and seems like something they might do just as fun for us nerdy types, but I mean you could have made the same argument a month ago saying the pattern was 1,2,3,4, or about a million other patterns/functions given 3 points and a presumed 4th one.

...but I'm going to say that I agree with your theory 100% just because I want the next morse code video NAO! lol

 		Haha, I took a break from my no-Slendies till after finals binge for the same reason as Shinkstor. That bit with the stereo was ridiculous. I'm sure its been talked about to death, but I just wanted to add my two cents and say that, that element really could have been handled in a lot more interesting ways. Maybe something like the conversations between the son and mother in Hitchcock's Psycho, but just talking to a stereo seems a bit far fetched to me.

Just him leaving and them coming back and saying he couldn't go would have been fine as well, actually. But the way they did it just made me lolz.

I think it's interesting how our disbeliefs all hang differently. For me, I found Alex talking to the stereo incredibly creepy for what may be the exact same reason you found it laughable: it was incredibly outside the realm of normal human activity, but they still managed to sell it to me; where you saw "unbelievable, therefore funny", I saw "inconceivable, therefore disturbing". No right or wrong, really, just different perspectives.

On the other hand, I thought the damage to Evan's arm at the end crossed over into narm territory; the effects looked great, but they were too extensive for me to buy the rags-n-tapwater treatment. The fun train derails differently for everybody. Smile

I thought: "Hey, but he wasn't fairly normal fellow, complaining about his brother's crazy ideas about where his girlfriend went, just the other day?". I agree about creepy, but I would add a WTF to it. Too sudden to be really good.

 		So, in regards to the new post at CYSTW...

I don't want to beat a dead horse, but my immediate thought upon seeing that video and listening to the song was, "Oh wow, maybe I was right about Evan and Steph!"

Anyway, if I were writing it, that's how I'd do it. Steph is falling into a false sense of security, feeling like she's finally found a safe place amongst other survivors (specifically Evan if my epileptic tree holds up, but maybe not). Which can only mean that bad juju is about to go down. A sense of safety never lasts long in the Slenderverse.
