Watched Topics and Forums, RSS, and SPAM

Please be aware that if you have flagged any topics or forums to notify you by email when new replies are posted, that on occasion those emails will contain SPAM postings. If the contents of an email look crazy insane, hey, don't click those links! This also applies to a lesser extent to the RSS feeds.

The mods and admins try to delete SPAM as quickly as possible, but some will still sneak through, especially with the email notifications. Practice safe computing!

In addition, it might be good to stress the fact that we ask everyone not to reply to any spam posts, as it generates unnecessary forum strain/traffic and will look weird when the spam gets deleted. Ignoring spamposts is in many ways for the best.

Call me crazy, but I've lost the thread where we can report spam. Could we link to it from here?
