[ABANDONED BLOG] Once

So far, I'm hooked. Excellent writing, detail, and the characters are beyond believable and real. I will re-read it again tomorrow when I'm not so tired and post some thoughts, but I am very impressed with the startup of this one. Normally, blogs aren't my thing, but this one drew me in right away.

Update: Ok, the comments seem to be relevant here storyline wise. I wasn't sure at first, but after reading them all, there is definitely something up with them and the entire package is creepy. I have a feeling I will need to check out the other subscribers (there are currently only 4) to see who they are and if there is any connection.

Whoever is writing this is doing an awesome job.

As of Chapter Eight, this blog is definitely in the Vivereverse, though it's obviously a sideshow to the main attraction.

So far? You mean the character's death doesn't make it over?
I read this last night and it was good. I like the Critic better than the Author.
But I also finished The Dark Tower yesterday, and now I want to read something that is less meta.

I know this is some serious thread necromancy, but I was rereading Once recently because I plan on reviewing it sometime in the future and I noticed that The Author has a new blog called Twice.

It seems to be another Vivereverse blog, since characters from Justice appear in the first chapter and there are references to other blogs that have linked in with the Vivereverse - Little Lion Man, A Frayed Knot and Peering In From The Oustide all seem to get nods in the acknowledgements. Also, its written by the same character as Once, also a Vivereverse blog.

I'm a huge Vivereverse fan, so I'm very excited to see another blog.

Oh, sorry. I forgot not everyone is a fanboi like me.

The Vivereverse is a bunch of interconnected blogs written (co-written, in one case) by the same author. The first one was Vivere Disce, the second one is Once, the third one is Happy Thoughts, the fourth one is Justice and the fifth one is An Account of Stuff and Nonsense.

There's also A Frayed Knot, which the author co-wrote with someone else, though I'm not sure where it fits into the chronology.

Twice seems to be a continuation of all these stories, given that its opening references most if not all of them in some way.
