Snap. Does this mean he's back? More importantly - does this mean that we have to hunt down a new twitter username and/or website? I'm both excited and anxious at this prospect.

On the other hand, it's also quite possible that he just means that character. Yeah, probably that. In any case, sign me up to help in any way I can.

I don't know, guys.

I spent the last few days doing some intermittent hardcore internet supersleuthing and I can't find anything that looks even remotely like HS's new stomping grounds.

I've sent him a few emails...in the last one I just flat out asked if it was over.

I've had so much fun with all of this that I really want to believe that he's testing our patience and something huge is on the way, but man...it's been over two months since the "yourethebest" solve. And I never even heard from him about that. I don't think anyone did.

It's entirely possible that some total bogusry went down in his life and he just abandoned the whole thing. That seems to be the fate of many an ARG.

Hopefully I'm just being dramatic and impatient.

Here's hoping.

Ugh. I wish I had waited for him to actually make a move before I let myself get sucked back into this. Oh well.
After looking around, I'm pretty convinced we missed something in "flight".
It's so annoyingly deliberately esoteric.
It's just not clicking with me though.
Any ideas anyone?

I definitely feel you on the lack of anything new to sink my teeth into.

I initially racked my brain for movies/games/songs/anything involving flying and anything mentioned on the page but as you might have guessed nothing worked. I even asked several people to check out a few pages including this one to no avail.

I'm basically waiting for something more substantial than a two word tweet with no apparent context to consider this game "back on". Considering "Oh fine." is something you say when you're giving up/relenting I'm kinda less optimistic than I was before that tweet. Prove me wrong Hatshoe!

Knucklehead, I hadn't even thought he meant he moved to a new game. That would be weird but understandable at this point.

I read through the first month or so of the journal entries on the abandoned windmill site and I get the similarities. The "neighbor", the shadowy thing from his childhood, and the art is similar in someways but HS never did anything as intensive as the paintings on that site. I'm definitely gonna have to lurk this one.
