No, no, no, first, I was NOT implying core theory=crossovers, if it seemed like that, I apologize. In fact, I was really excited about this possible TJA/EMH thing. I meant stuff involving Remnants, Sages, Redlight, that Path of Black Leaves or whatever, all that stuff. Really confusing, hard for a newbie to catch up with, and In My Opinion, not that scary because it takes out the believability (well, as believable as an 8 foot tall faceless creature can be) of the genre. Which the PTC has a history with. I know the Doc also has and probably will dabble in that stuff in the future, but so far he's really kept away from it, so I enjoy compileTRUTH.

I'm not bashing everything that's not the Big 3, In fact, I follow at least 10 of the blogs, most of the minor vlogs, and I'm even in the process of planning my own out. It just seems to me that the writer of the PTC stuff is really....pushy....when it comes to having a crossover. There's nothing wrong with a crossover or a reference here and there, but it feels like every time I read a blog, Specter/Nightcrawler is posting in the comments about how the PTC can help.

I'm not a fan, personally, of the PTC stories, because, IMO, it's too hard to believe, which spoils immersion, in a way. A shady paramilitary team is hunting down paranormal creatures on top secret missions....and posting about them on a public blog for all to see? I understand suspension of belief, but I can only suspend it so much. At first I liked it. It seemed interesting, like an ex-marine, hunting down Runners. All right, that's cool. Now it's a full blown merc team on missions to save the world from Slender Man and his minions. Too unreal for my tastes, I'm sorry.

I wouldn't read it, but a lot of times, their story overtakes another blog's story, or something they did is referenced in another blog that I follow, in the case of the Tablet, and now this, so I have to read it to keep up.

I'm sure the creators are all nice people, many authors are. But, just because they're nice, doesn't necessarily mean I have to enjoy their work.

But once again, it's only my opinion.

EDIT: Btw, I just looked at the comments in that blog post again, I'd just like make it clear that I did not post either of the Anti-PTC posts.

Ah, than I read that wrong, and I apologize (today has not been too god for me X.x; )

And I know that you were,'t bashing the big three, it's just a general statement that I've observed on the forms that people generally tend to avoid most things that do not involve the big three (or the medium 5)

And true, but I rage at the fact that there are some people out there who assume that the creators act just like their characters (if that were the case, I'd be running around killing people >.>; ).

And I respect that you don't like something, that's fine :3 I'm just a bit agitated by other things that have happened today, so I don't mean to rage at you. That, and I tend to jump the gun a bit here :/ so if I say something, don't take it to heart. I have a terrible way of explaining myself and I come off as a little rude, but I'm far from that X.x;

It's alright, no offense taken. Believe me, I know there are a lot of ignorant people on these forums, but I try not to be one of them Smile

I think it's cool that he's got his own little storyline running in the background, but I prefer his compilations. Mostly because I can't stand the blog format. He's like the cliffs notes of the Slenderverse!

Ooooo, the "Is he crazy" angle. I like it. Makes a lot of sense for a storyline wrapped around actually compiling other video and blog series.

The male friend has a headband and the female friend says "Sweetheart". C'mon, Doc C, take them in. They have all the makings of a sidekick squad.

New video: collection of oddly clear voicemails. I guess they just get REALLY good reception in his part of the world (or they use shotgun mics when they call people Wink )

I like how he's becoming a kind of "Johnny Truant" character, where we're stuck questioning his reliability as a sane individual. Really adds some irony to his channel's name.

I prefer his Compilations too,I just wish he was able to do a more up to date compilations on Marble hornets and tribe twelve. But I am thankful that he does compilations of all the blogs, I don't think I could actually sit down and read them all and stay interested. But he is very straight forward though in his videos.

There are a bunch of IG updates that I'm not going to bother linking to, and a compilation. This time it's the canyouseethewords branch of EMH: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kcuqUxY3Mjg

Sorry to resurrect this after nearly a month, but to my knowledge, there isn't another compileTRUTH thread. [If there is, then I apologize. Please enlighten me and forgive my stupidity.]
I just really need somebody to talk me through my disbelief at the awful and very obvious scripting during the third part.

Awful and obvious scripting is a time honored slenderman tradition.
And yes, the "Do we have a CompileTRUTH thread?" is the only CompileTRUTH thread as far as I know. It's very existential that way.
