anyone else getting weird thumbnails for a couple of the entries? or is it just me?

Shouldn't be too long now. If they use the same format I use when I upload my videos, around 5 minutes should take just over an hour. I would use that as a gauge.

So let's start the speculation on why the Operator appeared in the latest entry. My opinion is not that he's now stalking Jay, but that Jay accidentally stumbled into his "home" or at least an area that he's connected to.

If that clearing with the chimney is the Ark, I'll be surprised, but I think the heart of Rosswood is an Operator den.

Just a crazy theory here:

What if slendy isn't the bad guy. Have we actually seen him do anything bad other than being extremely creepy? What if he is actually protecting Jay/Alex from something? (Maybe masky or whatever is controlling masky) We've seen him inside Alex house watching him while he sleeps, what if he's only watching/guarding?
The only character we've seen doing showing any unprovoked hostility is Masky.

Something i haven't gotten yet. Probably been discussed before, but i haven't found anything logical on the matter.

Jay obviously knew people not-related to marble hornets before all of this happened. In the entry in which his apartment was burned down, he said he was told by a friend. Furthermore, as he's still pretty young, (mid 20's or so,) he probably was in regular contact with his parents before all of this happened.

Now he's basically disappeared for almost a year, his old place was burned down, and he's completely and totally MIA. Wouldn't SOMEONE file some kind of missing person's report by now?

I think we're meant to assume that he keeps in touch with his parents and just didn't tell us. He's a private guy. >.>

But wouldn't he be afraid of pulling them into it or something? Seems possible, considering the incident with Alex's girlfriend, or at least possible enough to avoid trying anything.

Whether they issued a report or not is actually irrelevant to the story, at least it has been so far. I'm pretty sure the characters are implied to be post-college age -- it was stated in Season 1 that the Marble Hornets film was a film school project and it happened a few years ago; so presumably Alex and/or Jay would have graduated by now -- so it's entirely possible that Jay has "left the nest" and was already living out on his own.

I just wanted to point out a few things I've noticed - I don't know if anyone's mentioned them before.

Has anyone else noticed that Slenderman and the Observer from Fringe look almost identical? Bald, wears a black suit, and in Slenderman's case, can be seen in quite a few of the entries...

Someone else presented the theory that maybe Slenderman only moves at normal speed when an eye or a camera is watching him - does anyone else find this similar to the Weeping Angels in Doctor Who?
