Thanks for the tips! I had thought that disobedience was as simple as that, but I wasn't able to click the email address and someone else mentioned that they emailed someone and nothing happened.

If you need more help with the clock, I'm more than happy to point you in the right direction, but I feel there really are no more clues I can give without actually spelling it out.

The traveler I got totally by accident by playing on my phone.

Any hints would be greatly appreciated.

No insult intended, but did you actually do anything to those typos?? Wink

I seriously tried all the indexing, mapping, and number ranges that I could find. I have the 8 names and the sequence of numbers, but can't seem to map them out to anything! If somebody could PM with the missing link, that would be amazing. I know it's going to be so obvious once I see it, but oh well...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
At this point, you're going to need to actually make a trip to go see the thing for yourself. Keeping in mind, of course, that "actually" doesn't necessarily mean "physically," when "virtually" is an option...

Oops - just went back and re-read; you've already gotten that. So...try this:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
You have "the" sequence of numbers? Because I recall two sequences of numbers, and they both factor in to the sequence of letters that are the answer to the puzzle...

I think you may simply be over thinking things. Not everything is a puzzle.

Thank you. You're right, I was thoroughly overthinking it!

I'm always out of sync with the puzzle creator on this effort. It's frustrating when you believe you've come up with the only possible answer and then find out there's a non-obvious, next step required.
This puzzle sets me up to totally over-think next week's puzzle (If the trend continues)

That said...
Focus on the fact that the first word of your initial solve would make your final word a (regular) past participle. And that most of those share a common ending.

Today and Videbimus

Woo hoo! Finally got Videbimus... although I don't really understand how I didnt get it off the bat since I had all the tools in front of me, oh well, that's the magic of puzzles Smile

Happy at least to have gotten today's theorem without a hitch.

That's not enough. If you insist on not travelling you won't solve it without knowing (or at least correctly guessing) beforehand how it works

btw what would you google for? "how to travel?" Twisted Evil

Thanks for the help on some theorems, figured them out with your hints!
I've looked into today's one, but still no clue. Maybe it will come to me.

Clock

I finally got the next to nothing and the recursion... Hung up on the anagram for today... and that clock...

Does it matter which hand moves first? I randomly stop it, bring the other hand over... get either a chime or a falling letter. If i find a falling letter, I go again to that letter. When I get a chime, Where do I go next?

btw I don't get how people struggle with the traveler seal, it seems pretty self-explanatory to me. It's not even a puzzle, a pre-schooler could do it.

you need to travel, you won't solve it by sitting at home (unless you know how it works and have the necessary technical means)

There are a few reasons why the intuitive method might not work immediately:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you access via phone, tablet, or aircard w/ cell service, TMT's view of your device's location doesn't necesssarily change even when its physical location does.
