I really like the concept, and I've always found the concept of RetGone terrifying. If Slendy could RetGone people...*shudder* Entire realms of possibilities open up.

I also like that, while it's not stated how old the protagonist is, she still appears to be fairly young. The writing is straightforward and simplistic, and not very flowery. I'd like a younger protagonist, as the Slender Man is so commonly said to abduct children.

On the other hand, the blog really drives the whole "MY SIBLINGS ARE DEEEEEEAAAAAAAD!!!" point home...which I guess was mentioned early on in the blog and shouldn't really be unexpected. Still, it makes the blog just a little repetitive. And like I said earlier, the writing is a bit flat. Those are my obligatory "cons."

Alright, just went through this. It's fortunately not long yet. I think I prefer blogs like this where the character already knows about Slenderman. It means they don't need to use all the cliches to let us know that's what the blog is about.
I didn't notice the background noise in her audio segments until I saw her brother mention it. So I went back and turned the volume up and there's some creepy voices back there or something. I can't understand it, but I think other people are magically capable of figuring these things out.
(Also, if Slendy is now targeting a rat, I think I might die of laughter.)

Something about this seems more- genuine than most other blogs. Perhaps it is the ratio to posts about The Tall and The Faceless to posts that aren't about him. It feels more real. And also, while I do like Sanity Slippage, the idea of having already gone through the loss of your mind seems like an interesting take on things. Also, the writing is awesome.

I noticed that there is a song in her little audio sidebar thing titled "pleasetellhertobecarefulwarnhershewontlistentomeshewontlistentellhertolisten.mp3" Says it was last updated today. As far as I can tell, it's just music, other than the title, which must be a message to us.
My guess is that this, like the voices in her audio posts, comes to us from the restless spirits of her original siblings. I guess if nobody else is going to, I'll just try and leave her a comment about the stuff she is apparently not noticing.
