I thought it was made plenty clear (in info outside the videos, granted), that Slender Man, the guy inside Josh at the beginning, the guy inside Josh now, and possibly the guy inside Austin were the angels, fallen ones, or nephilim, who have been using these kids as pawns in their sick game.

All I did was read through this thread and watch the videos, and I understood it fine, but you couldn't do that just watching it as a web series. It's definitely an ARG with a lot more going on than just YouTube. Or it was, seeing as how it's pretty much over, now.

I don't think it was a trainwreck at all. They've obviously planned this from the very beginning, with references to "remember the Watchers" (Nephilim) very, very early on. It's a great series, and I hope this crew does another one, learning from the bumps and bobbles and improving as they go.

I got that Emet/The Dweller/Slender Man were supposed to be nephilim, but as to why it was a game is lost on me. True, the girl who was friends with the Dweller kind of... cursed? him to play this game, but it's never described what might happen at the end. What would happen if Josh and everyone got their pieces to the middle? What if Slendy got his piece to the middle? And now the whole 'game' theme is never brought up, it's just ending with
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Stephen maybe killing Josh/Emet
. And since Stephen is just The Collector, we're probably not going to know any more details about the game than we do now.

OT: I made myself lose 4 times just writing that

I'm curious as to what happened to Austin in the video that's coming. He mentioned something about not wanting us to remember Austin like a monster. I can't tell though if the wording implies we'll see him at his worst in the thrall of the Creature or if we see him back to his senses.

the "Brought the bodies down to the lake" tweet makes more sense now for me.

Still rather disturbed about what he seems to be implying he'd do after the final one is uploaded D:

It looks like it's the endgame, everybody.
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Austin tackled Slendy into the water. Tackled. And it seems like Josh is alive now? Or.. maybe he's still a zombie. I.. don't really know. I don't know who the other baggy people are, but they're gone too. In the FB chat, it's implied that Stephen killed himself, but again, I'm not sure.

That's all to report.

EDIT: @joshrallus Stephen
GOING OUT FOR PIZZA.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
EDIT WITHIN AN EDIT: FB chat confirmed he didn't kill himself.

Well, it's official: The Angel's Game is the first Slender Vlog to complete their series and endgame properly.

Kudos to them. Great job guys! Smile

Soon to be followed by a recap film where the only new material is musical sequences of Josh, Austin, Stephen, Alana and Nathan playing classical instruments, intercut with the existing footage.

Then, Apex of the Angel's Game, a big-budget theatrical release with an action-packed revised ending. In the final scene, Josh and Austin are alone on a barren patch of white salted earth just beyond the lake at Stephen's house. Josh attempts to French the unconscious Austin, who awakens and speaks the ambiguous phrase fans will debate for years - "kind of gross."

Then, in about ten years, Regen of the Angel's Game, a remake film trilogy, with added EVA pilot classmate Sarah, as played by teen star Chloe Moretz.

I agree with Noah. Great job to all involved. This was a great proper ending. I was talking a bit of smack in recent weeks, I know, but this was a tremendous last video to wrap up the series and support all the various plot elements they brought in. I really loved this series, especially watching it take off and evolve and differentiate itself from the pack, and it's great to see it end so succinctly. I look forward to anything else Josh may do.

Also, I love how they support the whole Slendy being weak against water thing that's been mentioned before. Great way to seemingly eliminate him.

Frenching you say?
That really shouldn't be my reaction, but alas. Heh.

My understanding is that the bag people were the folks who'd died - Alana, Austin, maybe others.

BTW, what was said in the facebook chat where Stephen confirmed he didn't kill himself?

He talked about making a Tumblr with a chat later, ebcause he hates Facebook. Also talked about how delicious his pizza was, and how weed makes him troll.

Not much really, besides him blaming us and himself for the death of everyone. He said he's gonna "cry himself to sleep at night for a few years" but he'll get through it. He said he might set up a Tumblr or another Facebook.

Deeeerp, Austin isn't a trashbag person he was baghead. I meant Alana, Nathan, and maybe others.

In terms of this tumblr, maybe it'll end up being a repository for OOG behind the scenes stuff. Or maybe this isn't endgame? Who knows.

So it's great that a series actually ended, but I'm confused.

Did Austin kill Slendy? Is his weakness that he can't swim? If so why hang out on the edge of a dock?

So is Josh now back to normal? Is that because Slendy died or was it just an act this whole time?

Won't Austins body eventually float up to the surface of the lake? That will be hard to explain. What about the dead trashbag people inside or did they not die?

And most importantly, why pass up a pretty awesome crossbow and other weapons to use an old baseball bat?

I'm glad one finally wrapped up but I don't feel like there was good closure.
