[PUZZLE?]Encrypted text on Dana's Blog Don't know how many of you have seen it, but way down on Dana's blog there's a big block of public key encrypted text. Does anyone know of a decrypter out there? I found a few on Google, but I was wondering if anyone has a tried and true one. I promise to spread the word when I found out what it says.
Thanks!
DN
PS: Here's the block, if you don't want to go there:

Could you give us a link to the exact page that you found that on? I don't see it anywhere on the main blog, and if it's from one of the comments pages it wouldn't be considered in-game anyway (unless posted by Dana).

No prob.

It's one of the message comments, way down towards the bottom. I'd recommend searching for the name Jegger, since that's the person who posted it. Sorry I can't be more exact than that.

If it's not posted by Dana it's unlikely that it's in game.
Anyway, I think that's a PGP encryption. There's a one to infinity chance of getting the correct word or phrase to decrypt it.

Great. So it's probably just some spammer, huh?
Eh. I guess I'll have to wait until I can download a public key decrypter to give it a shot. Thanks anyway.

Figured as much. Just couldn't shake the paranoid feeling someone who knew everything decided to post the answer to every riddle on the bees site in plain view, then encrypt it heavily. Almost definitely not the case, but with that block sealed the way it is, who can say?

PGP Public Key Blocks are used by individuals who wish to release messages that can be authenticated.
Scenario: I want to make sure that people who receive my emails can verify that they did indeed come from me:
Steps:
Get PGP
Create a Private & Public Key, keep the private key private and release the public key to the public.
When I write messages, "sign" them with my private key.
This creates a string of hashed characters at the end of the message that can be reverse hashed using the public key to arrive at the same numerical value. This allows the recipient of the "signed" message to know that the message came from the holder of the private key that matches the public key used, and that the message is unaltered.
Why would Jegger post his PGP public key to the blog? Because he intended to send encrypted messages to Dana via her email address and/or because Jegger intended to send messages to Dana/Melissa and wanted Dana/Melissa to be able to verify that the message had not been tampered with.
