Light Puzzles

Recently one of the forums I am part of started a series of light puzzles. I thought you guys might like to try some also.

Puzzle Number #1
you need to find out the logical explanation to progress.
(It was thought by some people a certain clue with two pictures was the answer)

numbers mean more than pictures if you like logic.

I'll attach the two pictures.

I hope these waste a little bit of your time.
Just post, and i'll tell you if you're right.
