Once a realized the (bad) distortion was supposed to be Slendy talking to the guy I couldn't stop laughing.
Nice one-offer though.

why do people think its a good idea to do a close up on a terrible mask without distortion so you can see the seams and bends in the fabric.

It's not supposed to be totally serious though, is it? At least, I don't get that impression. It's just supposed to explain what The Slender Man is and does as well as show how people create his likeness. Well, that's what I gathered, maybe incorrectly.

I fucking hated it. >_> 1 out of 5, would not watch again.
The story itself, really good, I enjoyed it. The breathing into the mike made me want to shoot myself.
I am not being dramatic damnit, it was bloody awful. Distortion should be atmospheric, not annoying.

I thought it was pretty good for what it really is. It's not really a professional ARG but just a quick story about the Slenderman.
I also have an irrefutable bias for Ryan Murhpy so that helped too.

I must say the visuals were quite amazing. I watched it first with the audio but the audio only kinda annoyed me. Watching it without the audio worked really well for some reason. There were certain angles and positions where it was obvious that the Slender Man was just a guy in a suit and mask, but most of the shots of him were a very faithful depiction of something really scary. The audio coupled with the video doesn't make much sense, and the video itself doesn't really make a coherent story, but I think this is a good demonstration of creating an atmosphere using visuals, and if these techniques were applied to a much longer-term project, I'm sure it would create something quite unforgettable.

Also throwing out there that the rest of the stories in that series are amazing, but not Slendy related.

I enjoyed it, you should work on your distortion static though and also work on not getting Slendy too close to the camera if it's not that good of a costume.
But I enjoyed the rest, you should try it again but work on it a little more.
