If it was Habit, it's not like he needs Steph's body to post.

I know that the double entendre of the skin suit is enticing, but it could just be that HABIT is claiming to have been inHABITing Ed Gein. Much the way that he claimed credit for the Egyptian uprising, etc.

But, yes, we have known that he has access to the blog for a while now, since the background change. The question is why he felt we needed reminding of that fact?

Well.

1) Shit's about to go down. I really can't wait to see what the boys have to say about this one.
2) Ed Gein was a creepy fucker and I'm glad he's dead
3) I think the caption's implication was that HABIT used Gein the same way he's using Evan.

Bah. I had a really good timeline theory going on here, but it just doesn't mesh with the actual timeline.

How many instances do we have of Crazy Evan before ADITL?

First time I think it's obvious he's crazy and not just quirky is when you see him screwing with the Freddy glove in ". . . ".

Dunno, if you count "crazy eyes" as evidence of crazy Evan he was always bonkers.

I don't really chalk that up to "Crazy Evan".

Maybe what I should clarify it as "Creepy Evan".

Basically, stuff like him staring off into the woods, oblivious to everyone, for several moments in ADITL. The walking around the basement stuff(plus tape?) from the UStreams. Stuff like that.

What I'm thinking(and I'm sure we've probably already came to this conclusion) is that Habit either first (re?)emerges from Evan in ADITL...or first infects him there.

If we take Habit at his implied words that he was responsible for Ed Gein, then maybe we can assume that he inHabited Corenthal sometime after the kids' dying....thus his search for troubled kids had less to do with Corenthal's past...and more to do with Habit finding a new host(?).

With Corenthal's last known destination being Baldpate, it works.

That is, assuming that Corenthal actually was a murderer(which I'm not entirely convinced of yet)

Corenthal might not have been a murderer. A posited theory is that he used the children for experimentation, which would certainly be macabre enough.
