Green Lantern arg?

 		I haven't received a reply yet, would it be bad form to try again from a different email address? Sorry but I'm still new to this and not sure how the IG worlds work. Like, I'd still have to be me right there's no roleplaying per se? Which would mean I would have sent Waller two annoying emails?

Is there something these guys might be waiting on? A puzzle or something? I can't find anything in that video embedded above. TheWeatherSpace looks cheesy, but nothing I see suggests RH. Was there another site I was supposed to look at? Something on Bleeding Cool I missed? Is monlithic patience simply part of the game?

EDIT - Er nevermind. 2 New posts up at Bleeding cool. Is a1 a member of this community, or a character from the game?

 		The only other site I know of is drwaller.net

I think they are waiting for more people to sign up/send dr. waller emails asking her to move the satellite. I think that is the primary goal, unless I missed something.

 		Does anyone else think we are missing something? This is one of the drawbacks to ARG. The "Waiting" part of the show. Sad

I went to their game and started typing in every possible code I could think of. Just in case.

 		Crunchy~im not an in game character...i was trying to move things forward since brian and aw kept mentioning we needed evidence...i havent gotten a response from aw for my initial email offering support or for my image I sent her...im not sure if we are waiting only on a certain number of msgs to aw or some yet to be discovered piece of info...could there be some sort of steganography at play in that video? Im not sure how we would find out...just thinking out loud here...

Ok, i had some free time at work, so here is the response I received when I sent that image to AW....


Evidence is a wonderful thing, and I'm pleased to hear there might actually be some for this so-called anomaly. Four kids with a telescope is one thing. Five kids with two telescopes is still not an emergency redirect of a multi-million dollar telescope, but it becomes more interesting.



If you're serious about this and have other friends with telescopes, you know what to do.

I have searched around and no one is any further along then we are. Hmmm. This leads me to believe they will most likely give out the next clue on the 15th as that's when Doritos/Brisk campaign starts AnyoneCanBeChosen.com. Presently the site thanks you for your interest, but lets you know the promotion hasn't started yet asking you to return 5/15/2011 after 12pm central time.

However, on the off chance that I'm wrong, I went to http://www.worldwidetelescope.org (MSN's online telescope) and found the Cygnus constellation using the requested filter and shot that back over to Dr Waller's gmail account (screenshot) http://twitpic.com/4weh5z/full (don't worry, I have no idea what I emailed to her either. That filter makes the whole galaxy red, not really isolated fuzzy red splotches, but we'll see)

I think someone asked if there were any hidden codes. I was wondering the same thing. The last three lines from the ad placed within the latest Green Lantern comic did look suspicious (mainly the punctuation and capitalization) Any thoughts?

Most of the update is her "ranting" about other groups wanting her attention, but there could be clues. At the end she did address NAG:

i kinda agree with you, we are all getting basic emails back and i believe the next thing is the anyone can be chosen campaign on june 15th. also at end of may start of june subway will be starting a green lantern meal deal with green lantern bags and stuff to come with it. sadly i believe esp since they waited so long to start this it will not be a ARG in the way the dark knight was or tron or super 8. I really do hope this turns to something neat due to batman and green lantern are my fav. i was the one who posted the thread and played the game and tried every code as well and if you look at scores everyone has 0 . so i think the next step may just be on the 15th as said above. but i must admit i would love some green lantern swag:)

Abigail, from Houma — my squad of investigators have looked into your reports of a swamp monster down in Louisiana near our own HQ at Belle Reve. The photos you sent from your cellphone were interesting but the squad turned up nothing. Lots of stories but no hard facts. In this case, a lot of smoke doesn't mean there was ever any fire. Smoke is sometimes just swamp gas. Sorry.

Can you bring me back anything from this planet to back up your story? Or can you send us the co-ordinates of Rann? I could ask my friends at Spitzer to look at that quadrant and maybe they'll see something.

If you take all the capital letters in those three lines, an anagram spells "data dots". I don't know if that means anything but thought it was interesting. I think to move forward we have to find some proof of the "fuzzy red dots".

 		not that it means anything, but they are reading the emails. I got the same reply as everyone else, except when i sent in my initial email, I mistakenly called her Sir. In my response email, at the bottom was the line

"I'll be even more inclined to help if you stop calling me sir."

I replied with an apology but have gotten no response.

 		Maybe im over the top but ....
I decided to take it a step further since we still get "Yay you have a picture but no proof to back it up" as per Dr. Amanda's post on her "writing on the wall" blog......so I dug up a simple to find website and downloaded an entire thesis on why the cygnus cluster is emitting cosmic radiation. In conjunction with a picture i found on the forums at bleedingcool I figured that might get her into action on moving that telescoope Smile. Enjoy cause the .pdf thesis looks like rocket science.

I received another AW response to my msg to her containing the IR image of Cygnus...it reads as follows, and was definitely personalized to my original msg to her...

Aaron,
Interesting catch phrase, "Seize the Night," if I remember my Latin correctly. I shall take your findings under advisement. I am still compiling data on this matter. As far as the Cygnus Anomaly is concerned, I have to tell you what I am telling many people. There is not current evidence enough to warrant the emergency redirecting of a multi-million dollar telescope.
Perhaps if interest persists and new reports come in such as your own, that situation may change.

I'm not sure if she is asking for more people to send in pictures of red dots in the cygnus region( It certainly wouldn't hurt) or if the "new reports:" wording is suggesting that some new info will come out with the introduction the the doritos/brisk campaign...
